I am slightly confused at people saying it is not fixed now.

Because it's not fixed.

Current build lacks this. I've cleared cache, docked, undocked, restarted, etc....

No "Pilot has no standing" option exists.

1) Open overview;

2) Click Appearance Tab;

3) Click "Reset All" button.

Now you'll see the option. Admittedly you have to re-order your overview and sort out colours again but that's the way I've had to do it on four clients (separate installs).

I managed to get colortag and background for neutrals back.

BUT now it is no longer possible to make a blues-only filter. *facepalm*
The only way to get blues to show up is to include people with no standing in the filter.
FIX PLEASE !!! Bugreport 106977

If they are WT or flagged, shouldn't they be blinking? Else they will be neutral and then I'm lost as to what you are asking Rolling Eyes

Having to scroll down through a hundred people in the local chat window to see if WTs are there is a huge inconveinence. (not to mention a massive headache)

This is something that I've never got my head around. The "indigo" player is a part of my militia, yet even though I have the "pilot is in my militia" checkbox ticked he doesn't show up on the overview without me ticking the "no standing" checkbox as well. It's the same when trying to only show wartargets, enemy militia etc. and I simply can't figure out how to make one of those groups appear on the overview without all the neutral/no standing without going through the pain of setting standings to each and every wartarget/militia corp/enemy militia corp etc.

Anyone got some clue on how to make this work?

If you want to have a overview tab with friendlies and you are in militia, the only way to do it is to set every friendly militia corp to blue. That is because the overview filters are subtractive. If the pilot matches any unchecked box, he is removed. Checked boxes have no effect. A checked box just means "skip this attribute." My own corp did not show up on my friendly tab, because until this patch, I had no need to set personal standings to my own freaking corp. Rolling Eyes

This means that for militia pilots who want a tab with friendlies, that the only checkboxes that matter are standings. Because you have to set standings to have a friendly tab with no neutrals, it no longer matters whether militia or corp filters are checked or unchecked. It's all controlled by the standings filters. You don't even need to uncheck them on the hostiles tab. That you had to set standings means unchecking the high standings box removes them from the hostiles tab, no matter what other boxes are checked.

Basically the filters work completely bass-ackwards.

seriously dev that takes care of this piece of code needs to learn more about Boolean Operators, or just use Wireshark (real working filters on your packet dumps) for 10 minutes to figure out how to do it properly ...
