Hi all,

As you may or may not know, i am a late 2009 player, but i have been following this game since it's Beta waaaayyyy back when.

One thing i never found out was, how big was BoB at its peak, and how much space did they own?

Just so this thread dies faster:

IT exploited today by dropping SBU's before downtime and CCP should ban those involved.

You mean IT dropped SBUs in your systems and you allowed it?
Why failing to stop them is an exploit?

serious answer:

It was the multi-page article in PC Gamer May 2008 entitled The Universe At War that made me subscribe to EVE. It covers the Delve war of that time. It has maps, timelines, bio's of the various key players and a long write up including history / background.

It's a UK magazine afaik.

People calm down, we know it's a cop out but making hundreds of threads on CAOD doesn't endear your cause to the general populace. You're all just acting like the spoilt kids people so often accuse you of being. Just accept that Band Of Developers are all powerful and move on or get out of their game

Heh I remember that map. I think I was ratting deklein at that time.

And half the alliances on that map are BoB pets. Anyone near BoB is a pet pretty much.

Its also kinda odd to see Morsus Mihi in the exact same position they are now.

They certainly did OWN their space as it were...

Anyway, at the high water mark, Band of Developers owned Fountain, Delve, Querious, and Period Basis, with some space in Paragon Soul, Esoteria, Feythabolis, Omist, and Impass. Their eastward expansion was blocked by Stain (who, as they do today, pretty much shot at anyone) and by IAC in Catch, so they had to go south of them. Their control over central south was tenuous at best though, and evaporated very quickly with the collapse of LV.

pretty much this but controlling space over that distance was always going to be tenuous.

shame to see so many of the old names gone off the map. eve has gotten a lot smaller in recent years
