Autopatcher failed after 1,5 hours of downloading.
Manual patch also failed after another 1,5 hours of downloading.
Currently downloading full installer (another 4 hours)

To add to the psychedelic graphics issue, it seems to only affect windows 7 machines.
Im having the same bug on Windows XP. Maybe it helps the devs to identify the bug that screenshots made in eve (not the ingame ones) pasted in paint are totally psychedelic colors too. |

I can't start eve.
I logged on at 6pm eve time and started the update. After the update I tryed to start eve, but all i got was:

Not sure if this is a problem or not:
Unable to begin extraction process at any extractors. When I click on them, only option is to decommission. Upon decommissioning, I am unable to place a new one even though I have plenty of PG/CPU. Same case whether I'm in station or in space trying to access the planet, and I'm in the same system.

Hmm well the only issue I've found is my character has mysteriously gained a hood.
I designed him without and photographed him without, I've just logged back in to find him sporting one! |

extractors was replaced by ECU , you need to decomission old extractors and buy ECU http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&bid=805 |

wierd issue here....
logged in with my alt account to set a new face(female)
becuase im always have 2 clients running i have this alt account on low settings(she is a orca mining booster so she just lay there with the orca not needing much for graphics)
so when i wanted to edit her but i got the question that my graphics are really low and i should set it higher so i did.
all that gone well and redesigned her and when i was done i changed my graphics back for performance.
now the client goes nuts and starts reloading het new face but gets into a loop it will keep reloading and in the proccess the client windows also starts growing (playing window mode) and is now huuuuuggeee :P
anyway relogging fixed it but i had a hart time restoring the size becuase the client was very big and the graphic menu was so tiny(but at least now you can just resize with dragging the borders.)

Autopatcher failed after downloading.
I removed Eve (Uninstall a Program), re-booted and downloaded and ran the full installer.
I now get 'CCP ExeFile has stopped working' when I try and run Eve from the desktop shortcut.

The server has returned an invalid response.' which apparently corrected itself (I just let the download sit there for over 15 minutes), the rest of the installation went fine. I can log in although I haven't done anything ingame except for adding to the skill queue. My issue is with the character creator. As others have posted, I begin the process and the black screen shows the progress bar which gets all the way to the end and then just stops. The screen flashes very quickly and nothing else happens. The music keeps playing but that's it. I've tried it for every character on all accounts with the same result... nothing.  System: Windows Vista Home Premium with all patches and updates Dell Inspiron E1705 Laptop Intel Dual Core T2350 @ 1.86Ghz Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset 2Gb of memory Graphics Mode: 1920 x 1080 on 55 inch LED HDTV (dual screen - 17 inch laptop screen) Verizon DSL All graphics settings ingame set to high except bloom which is set at low. |

I have problem with the offline installer its 3.7 gigs but i have only 2.5 gigs free space on C and it keeps downloading to C temp however i selected a another drive where i have 40 gigs free space.
After the 4th attempt the client downloading finished at 2gb( wtf ) installations started and stop due the file was corrupt.
Also tried the online installer and i got this:
delete file: C:\.....\CCP\bits_status.txt
the installer bar isnt moving
and then : "there was a temporary error downloading the required files"
I don't have the old client since the repair tool wasnt working so i uninstalled the old client and tried to install the new one by using the online installer.
Using a Win Xp prof. sp3

From (pre-patch) experiments on Sisi, some hairdos only showed up properly with high shaders (and other top end settings IIRC)- instead they rendered as a crew cut. Didn't try an amarr but it may be a similar thing with hoods. Edit:- I'd reccommend everyone that does make a character to take a screenshot of the look you wanted before the server redoes it to help with any petitions if the two aren't close. |

hey, for some reaon i cant change my buy orders, i get this message:
Your current trade skills level only allows you to issue remote orders with range limited to 20 jumps distance from the bound station
1. thesystem is 5 jumps away
2. i have theskills i have been trading ingame for ages on asmall scale

Well - the link to the Dev Blog looks to have been eaten by the patch, but I'm having about the same problem. I decommissioned 3 extractors I had sitting on a resource, placed a 'New & Improved' extractor head unit ( which takes as much power as ALL 3 OF THE PREVIOUS UNITS ) in their place. Now: I can't get it to install any sort of resource to extract/start an extraction cycle. It goes through a scan cycle for the resource I select, it let's me specify a cycle length, but when I click the submit - nothing happens. I'll take a 'gues's that having other old extractors ( which haven't finished their extraction cycles yet ) still in place might be the problem. But - it looks as if CCP has broken Eve Farmville now too. *shakes head* Why do I keep handing over money to you CCP?... |

My Trade Char is missing expired Orders.
The API says they are Expired!, but they are not put in my Hangar...
Don't know, if it's written allready, haven't read the whole Thread.
Have it Petitioned with Tradechar.
Oh, btw.: i think, we need a free redoing the Charcreator, if the creator uses the last pic instead of the marked... only my thought ^^ |

But....
Overviews r totally bugged-not just that it wont show fleet members unless correct standing is activated,but it doesn't show icons at all,and colortags,if any displayed r totally wrong...
I am sorry,didn't want *****ing so fast,but it is not a naive matter...was very lucky that i havent been parked in low sec...
ps.please just tell me why Loki's attacking subsystem with damage+rate of fire bonus doesn't exist?it is not fair play-U shat minmatar artillery users down with that policy....

Yeah, it seems like buy orders which have more than station range cannot be remotely modified, unless one has Visibility skill at level corresponding to the buy order range. Before, the Visibility skill only mattered when setting up a new order, now it seems to be checked also when an existing order is modified. |
