The CSM is concerned that because the initial roll-out of EVE-Gate was so limited, and it was not immediately iterated on, there is a significant messaging issue, and that players may not appreciate the value of additions to a feature they consider being of marginal value.

Last I saw of him was fanfest before last where he was telling everyone he knew better, when they were warning him of his upcoming mistakes.
