Hey, I've heard a lot about this new battlefield which isn't named very imaginatively as it's called Battlefield Free to play (or F2P), being a fan of battlefield in any form (except for 2142 *shudder*) I'd like to get into the beta so my question is:

Does anyone know where I can get a beta key? I've signed up but who knows when the next round of applicants will be accepted so if anyone can get me in sooner then I'd be eternally grateful Wink

Thanks

I'd ask more but NDA's are a pain. I've been waiting for ages since signing up.

I've also read about a Korean company making something called Battlefield Online, which I thought would be something new and interesting but it looks like it's just Battlefield 2 with more players.

This is now the Battlefield franchise thread.

(BF3 not Battlefield 'free')

Battlefield 3 will use a new evolution of the Frostbite engine - 2.0. V1.5 was used for the super shiny Battlefield 2 Bad Company. And BF3 won't work on Windows XP and Directx 9. So >2 core CPU's will be utillised.
