Hey Guys,

I seem to have come across a new issue. It's been happening for a while now.

Usually when I start the game up the first time (after restart ussually) the game will Freeze after 2-5 minutes and one CPU core will go to 100%. It doesn't come out of that. I have to kill the process and restart the game. Usually after restarting it doesn't happen again.

I've tried running Eve from the command line, but there is no new message when it dies. I just see Services and fixme:imm:NotifyIME NI_ClOSECANDIDATE which show up normally.

It happens on both the regular client, and sisi client in different prefixes.

Can be anything.

If your hardware is not running hot then it could be the NVidia driver. 260-series seems still a bit buggy. If you are using 256- or 260-series try to use the 195-series.

If the hardware is running hot then start with cleaning dust from the fans, unblock any air in-/outlets.

Check for network problems, too. I.e. if the connection drops out, which can happen more often with wireless connections. The EVE client cannot reconnect by itself and the client will hang.

Check for any kernel messages, too.
