Hi,

Sorry if this has already been asked. I've looked through pages and pages of this forum and can't find the answer.

I've dipped in and out of playing Eve for a few years now and was recently inticed back by the new expansion that's been released, including the removal of skill points and books.

But I still have them.....I have skills I can train over time, I have books that need to be injected to learn over time, the NPCs give me books to learn. I'm sure I read that all of this was being removed, why have I still got them?

Also, if learning books are being removed, how do you learn skills?

Thanks!

It wasn't the "learning books" that was removed but all the skills that would affect your training speed. You still have to train all skills just as before, just at a higher speed now.

There was a group of skills named "Learning skills". They raised your attributes if you trained them. Those skills have been removed, every player got the maximal attributes you could gain from training "Learning skills".

The other skills remained unchanged.

If you had trained any "Learning skills" before they got removed, you'd have gotten skillpoints to redistribute to compensate for the time you had invested into the afformentioned skills.
