Lots and lots of research material that will help me take over the world Twisted Evil

I am married to my job so xmas to me was raging over everything being closed, but I did manage to learn a new style of fake smiling.

Didn't get anything out here in the real world (no family), but I did get a PLEX and a Loki with subsystems of my choice in game which pretty much made my day. Cool

Car polishing cloths, air freshner for the car, a sponge, some car shampoo and a bucket. It's the male equivalent of being given an iron for Christmas.

Being that my family hates the consumerism of christmas I feel very lucky to have received a new hat, the real treat however was getting everyone together for an all day eating marathon.

Champagne, bacon, pancakes and venison sausages for breakfast, a chocolate brunch to keep us going till lunch. The most absurd variety of cheeses, obscure vegetable crisps and puffed rice nick-nacks ensured that no one starved before our 6 course dinner. Each course was immaculately prepared and would make Gordon Ramsey jealous, each starter of meat or fish was interspersed with a sorbet to clean our palates and the main course was venison and roast veg.

There was two pudding courses, one of which my brother in law had cnc machined everyone a little rack to hold a bunch of mini ice creams, each with a different flavour. All this eating was of course accompanied by copious quantities of alcohol.

On boxing day I dropped my parents off at the airport, a little while later I got a text from my dad...."Phew, they didn't make us pay excess baggage for our stomachs!"

Was a good christmas, the presents:

- a 7x7x7 Rubik's Cube

And others, but these two are just awesome :D

More noticeable was what I didn't get: tantrums, whining, squabbling, name calling, disappointment, over-lubricated olds, dark secrets or dinner table confessions. Also nobody came out. Which was, honestly, a relief.

Good result!

wifey got me waterproof wireless speakers for my iPhone. apparently she wasn't down with me cranking up the stereo loud enough to hear through several walls so that i could properly enjoy my morning shower.

i bought her a burr coffee grinder so that she/we could properly enjoy our morning coffee ala french press.

oh yeah, i also bought a bunch of games on steam, some eve t-shirts, DDR3 ram, and a chainsaw for myself.

life is good.Cool

Got what I needed for Christmas. worked all day and the boss let me go home early cuz i was a good little worker this year. the wife wasn't home. Asked her sister (cuz shes a snoop as well as next door neighbor)and she said she was at the local restaurant.

Walked over to the restaurant, watched her eat and make out with my best friend for a bit. Took a few pictures.

Went home, printed the pictures out on big glossy 8x10 paper. piled all my stuff in my p/u truck, left her the pictures of her making out with my friend on the bedroom table, turned off the power breakers in the house, broke all the keys off in all the locks after locking the doors. Sent her copies of the pictures via email with a CC to my lawyer.

Now I'm in my new apartment ignoring her tearful phonecalls and "im sorry" msgs. Getting ready to go to the local bar, drink a few, hopefully run into my best friend and thank him for giving me the BEST present I could ever have.

FREEDOM!

Then im gonna punch him in the nose

(I'm moving into my college dorm on the 3rd)

I'm not sure if this is one of those "European things" but in US 20' = 20 feet. If you have a college dorm room that can accommodate a 20ft monitor, I'm kicking myself for going to a crappy, gray school on the Hudson river.

PS. I received no more and no less than I deserved for Christmas, and was quite satisfied.

LMAO, that's hilarious. Laughing

I do have one magazine's worth of hollow points loaded into my XD(M) for home defense. I've got no need for more since I hope to never need to use them. The FMJs are just for target shooting at the range.

Nothing, really. I bought myself a new GFX card, the Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 Vapor-X, which now concludes my PC upgrade (Thinking about an SSD)and something I've been waiting for a long time. Steam finally had a sale on Borderlands GOTY, and I bought it.

Also, a very awesome ex-corpie gave me 2 PLEXes
