I would like to see this chronicle as a game trailer or short video clip. The carrier would be a hell of a site |

And I really like the art work, Sansha soldiers remind me of Enclave troopers from Fallout :)
Yes great chronicle indeed I loved it. Also..you sure those are sansha soldiersÉ they look like Gallente soldier/marines to me |

Quote: The invasive programming quickly overwhelmed the inferior systems of the civilian infrastructure, local garrisons, and, though they would not admit it, most of the Gallente Federation’s navy ships. ... Their ships’ advanced electronics systems and powerful defensive measures shrugged off the Nation’s viral broadcast, allowing them to unleash a hail of guided missiles, artillery slugs, and incorruptible attack drones.
Ok. |

Hey this isn't usual Nation activity you know... they umm.... the planet... owed Kuvakei some money from 100 years back, and well they just didn't want to pay it back. Scoundrels.
Kuvakei was just taking back his assets, it's just good buisness! He is a Caldari after all.. |

Ok.
Navy doesn't = Capsuleer. With a ship that uses a pod, the capsuleer can directly intervene to keep things like that from happening. |

When I read this: The capsuleers who weren’t busy salvaging the wreckage or attacking one another over the right to do so warped away one at a time or in small groups.
I thought of someone saying, in a south park voice "No chribba this my large wreck!" |

Indeed! I'm wondering, are those guys in armor Federation Marines? The chronicle doesn't mention Sansha landing any troops. |

Virus-like nanites "infecting" the population, huh? Not the paramount of originality (Dropbear and Abraxas, where are you?), but it works, as teaser for anti-Nation effort.

Loved it, really captures the wider features of these encounters. We capsuleers don't appreciate the civilians in the planet-side fight |

When I'll direct CCP's storyline-and-official-lore division, I will. Until then, I can only comment about officially provided lore, without hoping to influence, rewrite or amend it on my own. Next! |

No, you're wrong. Read The Empyrean Age and you'll see that the empire navies use pod ships. In any case, all that capsuleer tech is sold on open market, so this little attempt at justifying the navy's non-involvement during 'incursions' is pretty weak. "They didn’t know when or where Sansha would strike next, but they knew that, with each empire’s defenses caught off guard and rendered all but unable to respond, they were New Eden’s only hope for a sustainable defense."
I'm worried for the Empires. We capsuleers aren't exactly known for our altruism.
I'd also submit that the empires' navy ships are capsuleer commanded. Perhaps a better plot device would be to say this was a lowsec system where the Gallente Navy could not respond quickly the way we independents could. |

To be fair, I think the news reports about people placidly vanishing into the bellies of dropships predates the Skyline movie. So...bad Skyline! Stop ripping off of EVE!
Fine bad Skyline, but good Mass Effect 2. Reminded me of a Collector raid on a colony paralyzing mind control swarm and all. Not saying it's a rip off it's done a little differently and that's kind of inherent in most sci fi. Great chronicle. |

I am hope the dust 514 Battles will happen during the Sansha's invations. Having to fight on the ground shooting around masses of Zombies, Loosing points for shooting these people who are still alive. Moving around the Mobs and having to hunt your opponent down who may be hiding behind the crowd.
Having to worry about any breach in your space suite which may cause you to slowly loose control of your body as slowly become a zombie. Probably having to self terminate before you loose total control. So you can respawn and rejoin the battle.
There may also be some Sanshas foot solders that may also be out there looking to simply tear your suit and run, so they can have another slave to add to their hord.
Probably toss in some panicking civilians with guns just to add to the chaos.
This would make Dust 514 Different for sure |

Researching info on Sansha it appears that he was a capsuleer that just grew to powerful for the empires to ignore. If that is the case the empires have brought this upon themselves, and now they are crying to us to come and save them since Sansha is to powerful for them to defeat. |
