This chronicle portrays exactly what happens when the Sansha, who've been preying on the innocents of New Eden, go against the only force in the universe scarier than they are: Capsuleers. " Uplifted" is a new EVE Chronicle written by CCP Headfirst. |

Let me be one of the first to say thank you for this story in particular, it gives a good level of insight we were missing on how they get so many so fast. (And Headfirst sure dove in strong with it!) |

Interesting, if a bit uninspired, background data about toasters mass collecting biomasses.
Virus-like nanites "infecting" the population, huh? Not the paramount of originality (Dropbear and Abraxas, where are you?), but it works, as teaser for anti-Nation effort. |

Capsuleers an New Edens best hope? My god, were all doomed. People that cant come along even in best of times, now suddenly should work together to defend galaxy? Lol, that should be fun. I recomend ccp boost sanshas to even harder then theyre now, maybe then tese greedy people will work together. How about sansha takes jita, business centrall should have plenty of people in those planets to take in sansha army recruits.. |

Quote: But then the dark sky lit up with different colors. Sparkling blue explosions and brilliant red contrails streaked across the night. The capsuleers had arrived.
That is a powerful line, gives me shivers running down my spine. Nice chronicle! Maybe people of New Eden will change their attitude towards capsuleers a bit, away from being maniac mass murderers (some, most? of them are, but certainly not all!) and towards being gods of hope. And I think the capsuleers, at least, some like to be worshipped like that Maybe in the next chronicle the IC news about the capsuleers fighting against the sansha could be used as well: that would be a fine intermix of 'real' news and background fiction. |

Fixed the link for you. Also, even those who weren't abducted were apparently left paralyzed. So much for saving the day. Also, without warp drives it would take hours for those dropships to reach the planet from any kind of reasonable orbit. But i guess i'm nitpicking. |

Well as we all know capsuleer's thrive on competition. I cant wait to see when a corp or alliance gets the first unassisted kill of a Sansha's carrier. Not just for sweet loots and salvage, but some very nice bragging rights at the local stations pub! |

The people taken during the incursions are cloned en masse to crew the ships of the incursion fleets. They're implanted as true slaves, and their orders/skillsets are uploaded directly via that interface. |

Edited by: Thalis Malu on 20/12/2010 20:26:24Great read, I love stories about us. One thing did pop out at me though... Quote: When it had secured the entire lower orbital altitude, the armada held position until a second wave of ships emerged from the wormhole.
You use the word "it" before defining what it was, the armada in this case. Do a quick switch of armada and it and you're money. It made me pause when I read it at least. |
