FYI....Took them over 5 minutes..... Look at the damage taken... If I would of equipped a tactical Reconfig module... Im sure they would still be shooting today.

They took me out by their POS..... And even though I am a noob at PVP, I wasn't very impressed.

Probably why they have not contributed to this thread... I made a huge mistake, not just by the recruitment scam,,, But assuming they new much about PVP.

This thread is an outrage. Everybody in Eve knows that Goons are decent Christian people and would never scam anybody. I'm sure that the OP is suffering from some debilitating mental disorder and we should pity him.

God bless all of you.

Yes, Phione you're FAIL if you don't:

Live and breathe the C&P forum

or if you:

--Screw up a Google search
--Pick a fail corp (such a rare thing indeed)
--Try to expand your Eve experience
--Turn a negative into a positive, or attempt to
--Have a bit of difficulty absorbing all there is to know about the game (or have a RL)
--Spend more time flying a ship than writing/reading about it
--Wait to be active in the forums until you discover its potential benefits

And, no, people don't read or miss old news either (Funny, I work in an an industry that profits quite nicely from the majority who do).

This is a scam where they need a ISK deposit as they run security....Move your stuff for free to VFK-IV, and offer to help cyno you in.

Well obviously now, they steal your stuff and ambush you when you cyno in to VFK...

They are all your best friend till you find yourself in a Pod...

Its a Scam, and I fell for it.... Was just to desperate to get into a good PVP corp, and did not catch the warnings...

I deserved it and will get smack talk for it Rolling Eyes.... But maybe this post can't help a few others avoid this fraud... Milovac was the Merch Industrial Recruiter

No matter what corp you join. ESP 0.0 corps (joining a goon corp should never be an option) always light your own cynos. if you can't, then you don't need to be in 0.0.

Great Advice....

Suprised this thread is still going though.....

Just wanted to make a note its Goonswarm Federation ( I guess they are not the most organized EVE group out there about paying bills) , and not the Goonswarm now owned by Pandemic Legion.......

Kind of glad I made the post though.....
Yea it sucks because of the smack... But learned quite a bit, and I was nieve... But like the most if us, just went onto to playing as usual after making the post..
*Did not realize that Goonswarm Federation had converted to Christianity, maybe they are kinder more nicer corp now...Twisted Evil

You can do perfectly well in 0.0 without being a cap pilot. Do some research, find your corps and dont be stupid.

Since Im still here I'll respond...

What hooked me, was the Capital Ship Replacement Program, and having quick access to the Major trade hubs..Since I make much of my ISK through contracts....

I now know Both of these Probably really don't exist for the Goons

Outside of that.... Was just using the carrier for transport...

Since that was my first 0.0 experience.. I am just relieved no one else had paid the price but me..

You are right there are alot of good 0.0 small gang corps out there.... I also realize my PVP skills are lacking.
I'll just find a decent active PVP corp, and pay for my own ship replacemnt program after the holidays.

But yes I can admit when what I did was Stupid...It was...

I thought everyone knew you had to pay for a forum somewhere else to join goons.

You are confusing eve with second life.

Back a long long time ago there was a sim in second life called W-hat. It was were all the edgy hipsters (goons) hung out and in order to become a member you had to have a something awful forum account. Which cost you anywhere between 10-20$. Then you would have to pass a screening process to make sure you were cool enough to be in the sekret clubhouse.

When second life went bad the goons came to eve online in droves and thats around the same time I came to eve. Long before I had this alt and long before I had the capacity to run 8+ copies of eve at once.

I reluctantly admit that I do in fact have a something awful forum account, although I do not use it anymore. I was at once time a "goon" and I did participating in the building of W-hat as well as the mall. But I can't say that I was ever in goon swarm. Even when they were good they could have been so much better had they only been more like those committed goons left behind in the yiff pile of secondlife. Those were the true goons.

Meh enough of the bed time story, I have said enough.
