Rather then bumping this thread, how about use Old vs New or the link already posted in this thread Test APIYou can also drag your portrait into the enter text area of any chat window, hit enter, right click on what you just said, past it in a text editor, the large number is your character ID. Another way is clicking the My Character Link to the left, that portrait will have your character ID as well. |

Another way, if you are in game:
Type your name in chat
Autolink it and press enter
Right click your name and copy
Paste into the address bar of a browser or anywhere outside the game
In my case the result would be: MJ Maverick > <url=showinfo:1377//935338328>MJ Maverick</url>
935338328 is my character ID |

Has anyone a list of hundreds of random characterID's in a text file? Would be handy to test code with. I am learning using the eve api with C#. It takes me a long time to produce code but I am getting there  |
