hey, i seem to have lost some SP in the patch.... as a guess its about 100 -150 k but i cant be entirely sure, i didnt think it was something i would have to watch out for... hopefully this thursday patch will straighten things out. Keep up the great work CCP, you have made a great game and it only keeps getting better, good job guys Very Happy

it was working on wednesday, but now on thursday I can't log in and it says incompatible version/incompatible build.

since downtime i am getting an incompatible build message.... I have uninstalled the latest client patch but still getting the same error. What have you guys done

it said wud u like to download clicked yes and it would not download it

just get the same thing as u do cant find a patch link and when u download the latest patch and try and install it said u already got it so i dunno wats going on

ccp must be still doing somthing on there or it just not working ConfusedCrying or Very sad

For those of you that didn't see the notice about 'Extended Downtime'

eve online incursion 1.0.2 will be deployed thursday, december 16

EVE Online Incursion 1.0.2 will be deployed Thursday, December 16, 2010. Incursion 1.0.2 includes several fixes to issues introduced by Incursion 1.0.1. Full patch notes of Incursion 1.0.2 can be found here. The deployment process will begin at 11:00 UTC and is expected to be completed by 13:00 UTC.

The reason for additional patch is outlined in the 1st post of this topic:

Important update: We intended to give every character a free neural remap as part of the Incursion 1.0.1 release. We have been made aware that not every character has received a free remap and we will aim to fix this during downtime on Thursday, December 16. We thank you for your patience.

Known issues:

*There was an issue where some players were unable to get the Echelon or the codebreaker. This was due to the way their gifts were applied to their accounts. This has been resolved and for these players to redeem their items they will need to relog.
*We are aware of some issues with the Russian and German translations. These will be addressed tomorrow in Incursion 1.0.2
*There is an issue with the petition window. This will also be resolved tomorrow with Incursion 1.0.2
*Some players were not receiving a free neural remap. This will be resolved in tomorrow's patch.



I hope that helps those of you with confusion to why EVE is currently down.

tryed login to the game: got the messege

There was a problem connecting to the server, possibly because:
You have not established an internet connection
A firewall is blocking the network connection
The server isn't running at this time (downtime)
The update that has been applied to the client could also be incompatible with the server. Would you like to remove the update and restart the client?

I cant seem to log in today, its telling me i have a incompatible version but no avail updates is showing. yesterday i logged in and revieced all the updates and my gifts, thank you ccp, but i had one major bug. i did file a petion so you would know about it.
i had no skillz in training. and when i tryed to put them in the skill queue it would not let me apply them. and then when i hit the remove skill button from queue a pop up would say there were no skills in the queue. very odd. i tryed the relog , clear the cache, reset settings, and so on,, but nothing seemed to help. so i lost all my skill training for yesterday and today until i can log in and see if you have fix these issues. im not worried about my lost skill training time to much i just wanted to help discribe the problem and help you fix the bug. {one tip}, i have multiple accounts and this account had a learning skill training when you guys removed them, and the other acounts didnt and the other accounts skill queue's are working perfectly. thank you all at ccp for the great things you have given us this year you really have made eve a better game for it. merry christmas and happy new year to all of you at ccp.

Just like any other update they won't let you download it until they are happy it works, as of now you can download it.

Post patch: I still can't apply my reimbursed skill points. Plus its a pain to even get the queue started up again, cant do it unless I replace the skill with another one then put in the one I want to train.

After patching to Incursion 1.0.1 and appling skillpoints from reimbursement for a specialist science field skill (reaching lvl 5) the RP/day weren't updated on my R&D agents. I still see the same RP/day values when i was at lvl 4 on that particular skill.

Issue solved!

One question guys.... You told us: "We remove learnings and you get 20/20/20/20/19 statistics..."

In my attributes I can see that basic statistics are 17/17/17/17/17 ? I don't know if I didn't understand something or what?!

Read earlier posts to see the full answer. The short one is: no, they didn't say that.

They said "we remove learnings and new players get 20/20/20/20/19 (because they get the same +3/+3/+3/+3/+2 remap new players have been given for the last year and a half)". You simply get +12 to your base (unremappable) attribute points and then your remap and implants are applied on top of this

No it did not. It described what new players would get with the default point mapping, and described how everyone would get an additional 12 unremappable points. Since everyone already had 5 unremappables in every attribute, they now have (5+12=) 17.

Has anyone found a fix for the bulk data problem? I am currently downloading the client all over again to see if this will fix the problem but if it doesn't I don't want to be out of the game for 2 days with no skill training running. Its not my fault I can't get in!

So I got the free remap, but the timer was reset to the time I used the remap (tonight) and I lost the time of my current expected one (In February). Is that expected, or was the free remap not supposed to reset your time?

I just redownloaded the most current offline Client version For eve, but it does see the server at all. It claims that the Server Status is Unknown. But EveHQ can see it just fine, give me the statistics of how many players are online at that time. 5 Months Ago when i played last, I had no problems. I have the Same ISP and exact same connection setup as before but with this recent update, I have been unable to play at all.

Exactly. I cannot log in either. and it does not tell me its Incompatible because its the most current version available and no other version is working either.
