All base attributes now read 17 instead of 20/20/20/20/19 (per the FAQ on skill change) on 2 accounts. This is a loss of about 200 sp a hour? I filed a petition.

Nothing new. If you want to remap, you have to put your attributes within the minimum and maximum values: no less than 17 and no more than 27. You haven't lost or gained any points — you just have too low base attributes and have to put two points into that lower-than-allowed attribute before you can proceed.

Read the FAQ again — it's supposed to be 17 across the board (20 etc is after remaps and only applies to new plauers), so you can go ahead and delete that petition.

Okay, this worked for me on my low level alt who actually has remaps available. It didn't work for the high level ones who still have no remaps. But the increases are still much less than the promised +12.

And, as I said earlier, the loss of the training bonus has added about 30% to level 5 training times. Is this intended? I thought the whole point of this was to speed up training for low level characters, but only my high level characters have reduced times.

Question:
I got a free remap. Is that an "extra" remap or did this just finish the cooldown? Until yesterday my next remap was scheduled for January - will I then get a second one or will I only ever get another one 1 year after I used this one?

Can somebody please explain A LOT more clearly how the "change" in attribute distribution is supposed to help existing "non-new" players? Before the patch was deployed my attributes were as follows:
Intelligence: 25
Perception: 17
Charisma: 17
Willpower: 17
Memory: 23

After the patch, nothing has changed! And I do not have an additional remap available (yes, known issue. just stating it has affected me as well).

Again, my question is, how is the "new" attribute distribution supposed to help?

So far I don't see any comparable benefit for having all learning skills trained to Lvl 5. It seems like all CCP has done is reimbursed the skill points? Please explain this clearly, and please oh please don't re-quote your original post. I get it. Explain the comparable benefit introduced as a result of losing our Learning skills (aside from simply being reimbursed the SP's).

My achura char (this char, WolfLeader316) also has -2 attribute points available for remap. Please fix.

As Tippia pointed out above, there's nothing to be fixed. Your Charisma is below the allowable base. If you want to remap, you need to put 2 points into Charisma.

It's not. It's supposed to be as close to the previous state of being as possible.

This means it has worked. You had 99 attribute points before (assuming those numbers didn't include any implants); the new system means that everyone has 99 attribute points (without implants), no exceptions.

That is the intention. It's supposed to be just like before, except without any learning skills.

Did you guys bugger up contracts? Sitting in an empty WH system and I can't open up certain public contracts (shuffles through the pile, bar fills, and then nothing.) Tried logging, another account, etc. same result. Was able to open the contract on an empire toon.

Edit: NVM, after a couple of minutes it opened. I guess you're just running WH systems on some of that burned-out hardware or something.
