Damsel in Distress is a mission I've come to reject regularly. Only 581 loyalty points, and the only possible remaining motivation is the implant Zor drops... only it's completely crap, and there's 50,000 of them on escrow for five cents each, and no-one ever buys them.

How about a small set of Zor implants that give nice boosts to stuff like missile launcher rate of fire so we can all spam torpedoes like Zor.

Zor's custom navigation Link
+10% to AB duration

Require level 5 Cybernetics.

Can't give these away now there are so many in game.

The Zor implant would be sweet IF it only needed Cybernetics 4 or less. As it needs Cybernetics 5, it is nearly worthless.

Yeah, the implants that require cybernetics 5 are practically impossible to sell. Especially since the bonuses they offer are ****.

Well if it was a 10% speed bonus instead of duration it might have been of some use.

I'm not even bothering to put a sell order for those I have Confused

Dude this is the only mission in which nice loot drops. Blow up that silo, and every time in the implant can, u will get a handful of nice mods. My last 2 tims shooting that silo gave me 425mm proto gauss rail, and malkuth siege launcher. This is the only real mission that gives nice loot, and you are declining it

The few times I did it, I never got much of anything from that silo. Conversely, I picked up a few named tachyons from storyline missions so far, so I'm going with those whenever they come along.

I'm doing L4 missions for two reasons: To generate loyalty points (which the 581 LP Damsel mission does not provide much of), and to fatten my wallet a little on the side (which the Damsel mission, loaded with crap bounty rats and only one 500k BS, does not provide much of). This one isn't efficient enough when it comes to earnings over time, especially when compared to something like the Gone Berserk, Blockade and Massive Attack I just ran through.

yeah blow the silo. Ive had some good named mods, hvy diminishing, 350 scout etc. Zors implant sux, i have tons in my hangar. Maybe they should give him a whole range of nav links he can drop, then we could atleast get some variation

yeah, well the problem there is that zor occurs with so much frequency that no matter WHAT implant you give him, its going to flood the market. I would suggest both changing the occurance of the mission, changing the occurance of zor IN the mission and changing the implant, only then, to something more useful. or creating a series of random implants for zor.

Who remembers when Zor dropped +4 Perception Implants right after Castor? (That was before people whined about losing their BS to him)

Those +4's never flooded the market, but I completely agree with this post...

GIVE ZOR A BETTER IMPLANT!

Actually they did flood the market, they were also exploitable in that you could have a single Zor respawn repeatedly and drop like 100 of them.

That's why he got removed rather quickly..

10% duration of AB is awesome for a bonus..... especially if you got AB to 5 already and fuel conservation as well.

Those skills to 5 plus the implant. Twisted Evil

10% duration on top of skilled duration + less energy used for longer period of time = a hell of a lot of extra power and cap not used per duration = more energy for other components and spare energy for your repair mods.

Personally can't wait for cybernetics lvl 5. If you want the privaledge of some these better hardwires. Grin and bear it as it's a privaledge. Not a requirement.

Keep cybernetics lvl 5 as a req especially for such a bonus. the lvl 5 skills are what seperate the men for the kiddies.

Im guessing you guys are talking about the level 4 damsel mission and not the level 3? Theres no silo in the level 3, least one thats not marked as a civvi object. Hate civvi objects in deadspace. All things in deadspace should be able to be made dead without fear of concord.
