SO this movie came out apparently I never heard much of, never saw and ad, just saw the name and was "western movie with ninjas"
So I thought, ok sure sounds fun.
It was awesome! It's got that old school style of westerner movie with the slow drawn out drama, you know, the reason most kids these days hate western movies. With action scenes that are more deliberate, (I'm not a fan of samurai jacks whole RAWR nothing but killing style)
Now I know I might just be a fanboy of westerns but I'm really confused about this one. I look up the reviews of this movie and found that people think it's really terrible. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the-warriors-way/
I mean like Pluto Nash terrible.
And I just don't get it, it wasn't a terrible movie, it wasn't lord of the rings but it had more plot than avatar and everyone ****ing loved that movie.
So, did anyone you guys see it? Did you think it was trash?did you like it?
I highly recommend The warriors way, it's got an old school style story, that whole lonely samurai feel to it (the blind swordsman anyone?) and the action is top notch! Great effects! It's even got the past his prime sharpshooter archetype, which I haven't seen in years.
I mean, I love old samurai movies, and I loved old westerns, and they had even less action moments. Maybe like, one fight scene in the whole movie type of deal. Maybe this type of movie just doesn't have a place anymore?
what do you think?
