EVE Online: Incursion 1.0.1 has been deployed. Full details are available here. Some players have not received a free neural remap and this will be resolved during downtime on Thursday, December 16.

When i hit Remap, my unassigned attribute points is at -1. So when i try to redistribute i first have to remove one point from something. I dont want to chanse my current remap, cause of the extra point, but i dont like the current mapping; Think this is a bug / rounding error?

well, everyone is supposed to receive free remap.... so, what does this mean for those, who should receive normal remap a few days after Patch Deployement?
Does it mean I only receieved the remap a few days earlier, and when I will use this remap I have to wait another year for new remap?
Or does it mean i received an extra remap now, and i can use it without fear, because it did not influence the term of my "normal" remap? :)

I have two toons. One received the remap the other not (I guess it will take it tomorrow)

The one that did receive the new one, had already one. Now it has two. Does this answer your question?

No.
The situation is drastically different for character that had an open remap and character that not.

Character that does not have a remap just DO NOT have it. Irrelevant to how soon it should appear - it's just not exist for now.

Adding a remap to character supposedly reset the timer and additional remap will not be available at any time in future - remaps aren't something you can stockpile, unless given by out-of-game means.

Could we ArrowPLEASEExclamation get a Tranquility Launcher like the one we have for SiSi Question
It seems like a more secure way to get our patches incorporated into the existing files..

Before this patch one of my toons was training at 2775 SP/hr, now it is training at 2610 SP/hr. That's an annual SP loss of 1,445,400 SP (165 SP/hr * 24 hrs * 365 days).

While I appreciate what not having learning skills means to new toons, those of us - your long standing, loyal customers, who took the time to train our learning to high levels are getting it right in the a** in this patch. I own seven accounts and all of them had high learning skills, which amounts to a total annual SP loss for me of 10,117,800 SP (assuming neural remaps to max the primary and secondary skills over the duration of the year).

I liked getting the SP back for learning - that's fair. However, given the new lower base attributes, the SP doesn't go as far as it would have in my case (IOW, I lost SP even using my SP!!!).

This sucks. New players now have an unfair advantage and old players such as myself get bent over without a reach around. Good choice CCP.

You could not have trained at 2775 sp/h. Get your facts straight first; otherwise there's no point.

My mistake, it was 2772 SP/hr, not 2775 - frustration bears typos. So, 1,427,880 SP loss per annum, not 1,445,400. Anyway you shake it, it's damn near 1.5m SP lost per year.

Now my facts are straight(er). Now there's a point (since a whole 3 SP/hr made you have to post your 2 cents).

To clarify... under the old system it was possible to force your SP/hr higher by training learning to a specific level, cybernetics to 5 and then remapping to max attributes - then train learning skill(s) higher to force the addition of another point (or two) to an attribute. This is probably considered an exploit, however and is clearly remedied by this patch. For example:

Train a SOCT skill to l4, cyber to 5 and shove in +5 implants, remap to max the primary attributes of that SOCT skill and then train the SOCT skill to l5 would add another point (31 instead of 30) to that attribute, therefore making skills with that primary attribute train higher. Train the secondary SOCT to 5 and you've got 31 and 19 in primary and secondary respectively, giving you ~2772 sp/hr depending on the skill.

I realize that I'm probably one of a handful of people who ever figured this out and that this doesn't affect 99% of Eve... sadly... I'm still not happy about it though. Seriously. But... what can I do but grin and bear it... or ragequit lol.

Same story here too. I dont like this patch. I will lost my advantage twice.
1st Against the lazy players who didnt learn their skills to 5/5 just to 5/4 and my toons got more SP/years like their characters and my toons was skilled years by years.

2nd I will lost yearly skillpoints because my attribs decreased.

Try using repair.exe in your Eve folder if you have troubles patching the client. It does a hash comparison of all the files in the Eve directory to the current revision hash and downloads any files that are wrong. It's still a bit of a PITA when it happens, but repair.exe will save you from having to re-download the client entirely.

I'm not understanding how people see this as an unfair advantage for new players. Everyone now has equal training times minus implants and remaps so older players still have a slight advantage. New players howver don't have to waste time training up skills that don't affect gameplay. Also calling player laY for not training learning to 5/5 is exactly why this patch is a good thiing. We need new players jumping in game and starting to improve their char effectiveness, not spending weeks traing leaarning skills for the long run.

Please read previous topics and check again your math.
2610 is a speed of 10/4 remap with +4 implants. (Which was 2574 before patch)

But you did get 5.3m sp that you otherwise would not have had to put where you want. This equates to 3.5 years of training difference. So in 2014 you have the right to complain about your loss in training speed but who knows what will happen between now and then.

Edit: As far as new people training faster... Look on the bright side. They will hopefully train up some PVP skills sooner to add to the low sec adventure.

How many people told you again and again that training advanced learning skills to level 5 was going to be a waste of time?

They were all right. You were wrong. Suck it up, crybaby. You were warned years ago, and you ignored it. You thought you knew better, but you didn't. Hardy-har-har to you. Have I made you cry yet?

And just as silently as it stopped, new transactions once again have a time. There is no time on those transactions that were missing them before, but new ones are normal.
