Does anyone here still have their very first rookie ship?

When you first started, what were the first things you did with it?

Start: I still have mine in Duripant, used to mine Veld in 2004 with it. Good times.

I still have the first ship I ever bought, which was a shuttle, but not my first Ibis.

I still sort of have the first ship I ever bought.

It was an atron, I bought it in Feb 2004. About 8 months later I gave it to somebody and asked them to convert it into a taranis. I still have it.

Since it takes me less time to lose a ship in PvP than it would if I had just immediately activated self-destruct when I undocked, no.

I still have my reaper ship. I haven't flown it since I got the burst, but it's still in the hanger in the rookie system I started in.

The very first ship i seriously used was a Cyclone for L2s and 3s.

Named her 'The Boiling Hell', and yes, i still have it. Sadly it doesn't have the original loadout, though. Had ACs and Arties, plus all kinds of wacky modules. Always prefer to learn as i go in games instead of just asking people what to do.

My first moments in eve....

Tutorial said to go mine veldspar in my velator. I undock and go to a belt. There is a megathron mining, I am totally impressed. There are cans everywhere, I loot them figuring people have left the stuff there because they didn't want it. I make my way over to a can right next to the mega, and viola! The veldspar I've been looking for, I won't have to mine it...someone must have left it here for noobs.

But what's this...I can't fit the veldspar into my cargohold...lets see, what do I dump to make room.

Mega pilot assumes I have looted his can, and sends his drones after me. My noob eyes see drones ripping me apart, and then concord showing up and owning the big bad battleship. I got the hell out of there and docked up where it was safe. I thought anybody could shoot you anywhere, and that npcs randomly showed up and killed everybody.

From that moment, I knew this game was for me.

I have a stack of 8 packaged Velators in my home station, one of which supposedly is my first. I occasionally add/remove some depending on what I need, so it might still be in there, it might not. Only the database knows for sure.

I bought a Gallente Shuttle, and re-named it right after I bought it, in March 2008, and I still have it in Sobaseki. I sometimes take it out for a spin, but it mostly it stays securely locked away in my hangar.

Yes, even if you only bought it 5 minutes ago.

I think I used my first rookie ship to suicide gank someone in some contest. I won like 5m or something, which was a lot to me at the time.

I think I bought it almost exactly three years ago as my second ship (the first one being a Merlin that got blown up during a lvl 1 Drone Infestation mission because I hadn't quite figured out resistances yet).

I was new and on a trial account and bored one day, so I decided to see how far out Into 0.0 I could go before someone got to me. Didn't take very long.
