- Jump bridge: i'd like a jump icon so i can select the jump bridge in my overview and click the jump button instead of "right click -> jump".
- Session change remembers passwords entered required to jump through jump bridges or enter POS forcefields.

I'm not into production, but I did read the QEN and one thing jumped out at me. It mentions people researching nanite repair paste material efficiency for naught. "Material efficiency has no effect on [...] extra materials." The economic team's conclusion was that this information needs to be communicated better.

Why is the option even there to do it in the first place?

The same could actually be argued for other things as well. If I am pointed and I hit the warp button - the feedback given (you cannot warp because of blahablaha) is in the form of a text message and the ship not responding. Why is the warp button not greyed out? If I'm scrammed, the MWD module icon might as well be greyed out too. If I'm neuted and don't have enough cap to run a module, disable that module icon until I have enough cap to engage it.

No way of knowing what materials are "regular" and what materials are "extra" by just looking at a blueprint showinfo is annoying.
There needs to be clear delimitation between them visible there.
Right now the only way to know using just ingame info is to actually own a blueprint and open a manufacture quote window.

NO popup window should EVER be modular (as in blocking input to all other ui elements).

i want to be able to save my password on the login screen. (just add a warning that if you use that option you're on your own if a friend or family member does stupid things on your account).

i want to be able to switch characters without logging out completely (and having TO TYPE MY PASSWORD, AGAIN).

Multiplayer pve content with 10, 20, 40 and 60/80 man gangs ignores how THIS game is played and how its gangs are formed and the membership of its squads controlled over time. It should be 10, 21, 41/42 and 63/83.

Incursion developers, and anyone working on multiplayer vpe for the future please take note.

1. When setting up PI extractors a scale for the timeline would be nice, or even just a typing input or dropdown menu.

2. On Ice planets its hard to see trade routes sometimes (I think this is only on low graphics setting)

3. When posting on the forums from the ingame browser it would be nice to not have to enter login info.

* After 3+ years, it STILL baffles me why I know more about my drones' state of repair when they're in space rather than in my bay. All this time into the future and rather than having my drones hooked up to some sort of monitoring device while they're in my own ship, the best that technology can offer me is peeking out a theoretical spaceship window and saying "Oh look, one of my drones seems to have no armor"? Really?

* Why can't I assign a drone to more than one group? Couldn't labels or tags be used to facilitate this somehow?

UI/Inventory Management

* Please, for the love of internet spaceships and all that is holy, give me the ability to right click my current ship in station and have an INSURE command. Scrolling through the list of all my pre-fitted pvp ships in station to find the one I'm currently in and planning on taking out is both time-consuming and so easily fixed.

* I'm willing to volunteer my time and self-described excellent skills with a Sharpie to go over each module icon in Eve and put a small number in one corner that corresponds to the meta level of each module. Having to look each one up repeatedly does absolutely nothing towards my enjoyment of Eve, and the idea of quizzing myself with module flashcards to memorize them doesn't appeal either. Why not make it easier to sort loot, fit ships, organize inventory by giving us that information graphically right on the icon?

* Some ability to change the size of the session timer spinner. If I want to make it four inches in diameter in the middle of my screen, shouldn't I be able to do that if I choose? Better yet, change it from a spinning circle to a text notification with the digital countdown, along the same lines as an aggression timer.

Possibly EveGate?

* Why can't any group that has a mailing list schedule activities/events for that group on a calendar? NGOs exist in Eve just as they do out of it, and I fail at understanding how preventing them from coordinating easily promotes social interaction in Eve.

Offered up with the best of intentions, and many many good wishes for everyone who cares enough to make the Eve experience a better one for all.

Great thread idea! That being said I have a few and CBA to read the entire thing so forgive me if they are already posted.

1. Activating / deactivating cycling modules should work both ways. If I decide halfway through the cycle I want to turn the module off and do, I should be able to reverse that decision and set it to ON again without having to wait for the entire cycle to finish first. This is particularly annoying with MWDs and ABs where even if you are very quick with reactivation your speed drops like a rock.

2. Session change icon should just be a timer. Why make me hover it for the information? Many times when I actually need the info, I also need to click a ton of **** right when the counter hits 0. PLease fix Very Happy (This one will probably improve my mouse life by at least a month.)

3. The whole overheating modules button/doesn't change color till cycle restarts/hard to click/ never know if I really got it or not thing drives me literally insane. (I am now crazy) Also the red damage indication ring should move like a status bar, the way it is now going from 20%->60%->Dead sucks.

4. Please for the love of all that is holy allow me to add bookmarks from the right click in space menu. PLEASE! Smile

5. Stations / gates should have graphics that more accurately represent their collideable area. Some stations and gates are WAY off. (This one is not a little thing but it drives me crazy, I'm sure it wont be attended to anytime soon but I'm going to put it on the record anyway and cross my fingers.)

Lastly, CCP I know you think we are really excited about all the new stuff you guys continually add, and some of it is cool but the idea of having the current functions in game work better makes me very happy in my pants and is much higher on my list of things I desire than is new content.

Please, for the love of all that is right in this world, have a button on the direction scanner to choose between km and AU. THIS SHOULD NOT BE THAT DIFFICULT. You don't even need to update the back code to support AU, just take whatever value the user puts in and multiply by 149,598,000 and pass that along as the km value.

This would help people who use the tactical overlay in the solarsystem map, since it gives distance in AU. Would make probing people out a little easier

At least, that was the excuse a few years ago. The servers might be able to handle it now...

This should be handled by a unified new window that handles both drones in and out of the drone bay in a much better fashion.

* The new window should be tabbed.
* One of the tabs handles the labeling/grouping of drones. Can retain the current crap tree view if its makes implementing this quicker.
* Another tab should show All Drones, grouped by their groups/labels showing health of each drone, cannot be collapsed, searchable. NOT tree view, should be like cargo view, can toggle between types of view (List and Icons). In List View health is very simple like the way current drone health looks. Icon view should have the heath overlayed onto the icon.
* Another tab should show all drones currently out in space. You can right click in this tab to Deploy a Group via a context menu. View is same as All Drones.
* Groups should be able to be hotkeyed (deploy), should be _really_ easy with the new hotkey code in place now.

CCP fixed a lot of little annoying things that have bugged me with the new patch

However, I want to add station bob to the list (please CCP, when you remove a minor ambient feature that annoys a few people, have a damn checkbox in the options so people who like it can turn it on)

Also, a checkbox to marked 'Keep Scanning' on the dscan would be great just have it run a lil bit more delayed than manual scanning (3-4 seconds say), hate having to try and roll a cigarette and hit enter with my elbow when scanning the other side of a gate Laughing

There's a high pitched clicking noise that occurs when you expedite transfer in Planetary Interaction which, to me, is up there with rubbing two pieces of polystyrene together. Ew. Wish I hadn't thought of that.

Say you want to search for a well known person you heard alot about, but you just can't remember the name... oh wait it ended with "ibba"... now lets see... 7 matches, everyone starting with the letters "ibba". The name we were looking for was Chribba. This is also true for Eve Gate.

  • Bigger list of search results

Atm the max returned matches are 25 in-game. Eve Gate returns 100.

Just wanted to report a minor FAIL from you that came in the last patch.
Add it to your "bug list" or "things to do for yesterday" list hehe.
I call it "Static-Shock" haha it isn't about electricity or the TV series, in fact forget shock, just "Static".

Want to see it? Just dock your ship in any station and try to see the cool oscillating / floating effect from the ship inside the station.
But where it is? Gone =(
Why? I liked to see how the ship was moving there because, let's face it, it is in space, it should move and float.
It gave a more realistic feeling to the environment =D

Please CCP fix this tiny little glitch =)

Hey I was writing some stories in the EVE Fiction section in the new forums.
Will the new forums be back online?
Or should I start rewriting them in the Old forums's EVE Fiction section?

Well that wasn't a bug report to fix but I want to see the old threads from the Old forums, copied into the New forum.
Because I've got the feeling that eventually, some day you will think, "Hey the database is full! - Just delete the Old forums one, that should do it."
I DO NOT want to see that happening.
Lot of us, the players, follow a great number of those threads.

Please CCP, add in the in-game calendar, the EVE Gate calendar and all the calendars, when you are doing TQ to Sisi mirrors.
I just got in Sisi today to test some things and look what I found, my character from 2 months ago !
We never know when a mirror will happen, it will be so much help if we knew it. =D

Also please do a mirror one of these days, I really need it and I know a lot more players need it too.

Sansha incursion rats don't show on the overview as default and I'm not sure there even exists an option to add them to it other than right clicking on them and adding them there. If there is an option to add them any other way, I missed it. Not particularly funny to hit a sansha gatecamp and not noticing it, since your overview doesn't show them and then having to add the ships to it so you can kill the tacklers all the while you are being scrammed and shot at.

Remove the unnecessary dock/undock between each mission by allowing players to accept and finish missions at space.

move the search function from people and places to the neocom or anywhere to mainscreen. I need to keep the whole window open just for the search function. Search could also see some facelift like for example add module/ship/ammo search. Currently whenever i need info of off a ship or module i use market which causes considerable stress to server...

Allow planet controlling from inside stations. It makes no sense you have to be in space. I'd understand if you had to dock to customs, but not in space...

When opening a container or wreck in space, add loot all button to the window.

Get rid of station containers and give us proper folders(windows style)

Add a proper session change timer that shows constantly.

Make max value the default value for copying(copies and licenced runs) and invention. Max is the most used value.

When POS has low fuel, show time left to depletion instead of fuel amounts on the mail(or both).

At science and industry, allow us to filter out blueprint copies. I'd like to see this filter at other places too but it's much harder work.

When doing science jobs from certain BPC/BPO, can game remember the settings. For example 'use current station lowest que time slot' 'use certain meta item for invention'. It's quite many clicks you have to do when creating those 10 invention jobs... all with same settings ... multiplied by perhaps 8 times every day.

Add more info to selected item and targeted ships 'windows'. Allow players to choose what info they need on them. Transversal, distance, speed, corp, ship type.... That way you have compact view of all info you need of your target instead of having to look from overview. Maybe this would reduce lag too as you'd only need those info of of certain targets... not all on grid.

More lighting options for character customization. Current ones are bad and we need more variety anyway.

Add some nice picture/movie/tutorial tips to blackscreen loading screens.
