1. Why only the CEO/directors can rename POS towers if I can do everything else with them with my roles?
2. Hidden aggression timers are stupid, make them not hidden. The game counts them anyway, just show them.
3. Enter starbase forcefield is in a stupid place still, and you use it a lot when living in 0.0 with jumpbridges.
4. There should be an overview icon/colortag for people that I have kill rights on, and a separate one for those who have rights on me.
5. Why can't I receive POS fuel mails when I have a "Role by title" and only if I have Fuel Technician role added manually?
6. Why does my Hawk warp sideways? And how come I don't receive bonus points for long drifts like that? ;)
7. Let me see launchers on the Drake and see if that's a HML or a HAM one like I can do with turrets.
8. Why does my ship's name keep changing if I change it in space?

* Mining lasers munching on empty rocks until the end of their cycle.
* Orbiting at x always has you orbiting at a few hundred meters greater than x.
* Warping to 0 doesn't always.
* All turret shots hit perfectly, even when they miss.
* Missiles fly gently to the target then double back and punch it at the last second.

Saved fittings do not save grouped weapons. I love the ability to save my fittings. But it slightly annoys me that every time I switch fits I have to regroup my weapons.

-The seventh turret model on the Harbinger has one turret on the top along the spine and one turret on the bottom...on the left. The entire ship is symmetrical except for that bottom turret! Evil or Very Mad

-The skill queue lags like crazy when making changes to skills while it's open.

-Engine exhaust effects sometimes go through the engine housing nozzles on ships and look stupid: in particular the Caracal and the Noctis.

Use CTRL+A, like in pretty much every other program ever. Double-click selecting all makes no sense.

Windows repositioning when I undock
Inability to view/alter my sales directly from the Market screen
Redesign of S&I window for smoother use and less clicking
Institution of "repeat" options - PI, Invention, a bunch of other things require multiple, redundant clicks

1) a "are you sure"-dialog when canceling orders
2a) decimal-separator and thousand-separator should be taken from the os-settings
2b) the unoffical setting in the .ini should be respected by input fields
3) I want the list-view of my hangar stop behaving like it's executed on my c64 back then, when taking something out of it
4) that applies to my order list too
5) when I actually have something grabbed with my mouse and are in the process of moving it to another location - I want the client to stop that canceling of my undertaking when something is refreshed (like the order list)
6) again the list-views: if I leave my mouse hovering in it when it's updated then I have multiple selected items - that is so f... annoying
7) when I take a freighter out - the jumping INTO a stargate happens far to often - once I was 50klicks out of jump distance

1)the useless junk in mission where you get tangled up in when you warp in

2)the clouds and nebulas that are so brigt you can't see anythign and hurts you're eyes

3)drones not doing what you're ordering them to do, i hate when you say attack target x and then they decide to go after target y and z both of wich they can't destroy

4)ship changing flightpath when you target npc's

5) having to manualy calculate the range of you're misiles

The name of the torture method is "death by 1000 paper cuts", so... Razz
Plus... well... we're up to around 140 already (some duplicates and some which wouldn't qualify as "paper cuts", not many, but still) and we're barely close to the end of page 2... "100 papercuts" wouldn't quite cut it Very Happy

My process for clone-jumping:

clone jump: fail
pause training
clone jump: fail
start training
watch session timer
stop training
clone jump
start training


Is 30s after docking really that uber-powerful that you can't just let us clone jump during a session change (at least, from a station)?

Is there a reason that when you plug in implants/clone jump it doesn't auto-pause your training and auto-start it again? etc.

I just feel like the programmers don't play the game. Maybe they're busy. :)

There's a million countless things like this - if I were CSM that's that I'd be doing with my time (that and UI).

9. Let me see the damage of crystals when not in a turret.
10. The stupid background nebulas in Sansha 10/10 plex at the last stage - how come they are obscuring my laser beams?
11. Sometimes the "selected item" window doesn't update distances when warping after jumping through a jumpbridge. Sometimes it does.
12. The window resolution settings are per client. Why can't they be per account like the texture, shadows and AA settings?
13. Private chats always opening in a new window since the UI update.

Nice thread Akita. Maybe keep a count of like the top 10 or so most mentioned niggles? Would be interesting Smile

  • Ships that bob in stations. Why was this introduced? Total immersion breaker for me.

  • Bring back orbit in stations.

  • Turret animations always hit even when they miss

  • Missiles always hit the centre of ships

  • Missiles "double back then slam" at the end of their journey to target

  • (I was going to put rubber-banding at the end of warp but this is finally fixed after 7 years so thanks ccp Smile )

  • Active module effects making ships (and especially fleets) look silly - if they are omitted in the epic cinematic trailers then why are they deemed acceptable for the game?

  • The physics engine in general makes the way huge ships act look rediculous - capship "rocking", bumping, even just telling your ship to suddenly fly in the opposite direction causes it to slow then flip quickly in a manner that would realistically kill everyone on board

  • Stations are too big! My battleship, which is supposed to be HUGE, is like 0.1% the size of many stations. It's rediculous. And when you zoom out, stations are almost as big as the moon they're orbiting.

  • edit: To agree with someone else about drones - they just orbit and shoot sideways out of the model when their turrets are facing forwards. They should dogfight like on BSG. Or at LEAST fighter drones should, as they have human pilots! Evil or Very Mad

Since the UI is a hot top: Make the right click menus update.

Example, I am in warp to spot A, immediately upon landing I want to warp to spot B. Currently you have to wait until you are fully out of warp to right click or re mouse over the item in the right click menu to get the warp to options.

Make it so that these items update. So that immediately after coming out of warp, the warp to options appear in the menu.

Also something that I feel needs to be really addressed, 1 destroyer is so unbelievably better then the other 3, and this transfers over to their usefulness as interdictors, this is a long standing issue that needs to be addressed. In fact its such common knowledge that I dont even need to say which and everyone will know.

1) Fix the bugs with changing sessions, so you can remove sessions timers. Login/dock/swap ship/join fleet/Move squad/. takes far too long.
2) Once you enter your starbase forcefield password, it should stay in there, even after jumping, docking etc
3) When you have chat channels stacked, and one of them is a channel with lots of chars in (say > 50) and you have it in 'Delayed members' mode, then when you swap to that channel and its been some time, it freezes up all chat channels so you cant quickly swap to another chat channel.
4) Dont scroll the fleet char list to the top when someone joins or moves in the fleet.
5) Fix the fleet window so it shows the correct Wing/Squad you are in, after moving. Maybe other things also mess this up.
6) If you sit in one of your stations in 0.0 and you have the 'Guests' list showing, people in your own alliance show as neut rather then in your alliance, if they log in directly to the station, but only sometimes.
7) If you keep your People & Places window open, on Contacts, and have the 'Online Only' flag set, then it doesn't automatically get updated when people go offline/online. You have to click the 'Online Only' flag twice to get a freshed list.
8) Not sure if its a bug or what, but fix docking. Sometimes, you can warp to a station and have to click dock many times before it will dock. I have sometimes had to wait 30 seconds or so spamming dock. If there is some hidden timer somewhere, then it need to be displayed.
9) Allow me to remove corp & alliance mail boxes from eve mail on certain chars. So that if I have 2 accounts, I dont need to keep getting a flashing mail icon because I dont read all mails on that char/alt as well , as I've read them on my main char.
10) Wrecks show as empty when they are not in overview, sometimes. You have to minimize/maximize to fix it.

Not being able to put skills into the skill queue if the prerequisites aren't finished, even if the prerequisites are on the queue before the skills in mention.

For example, if you put Gallente Frigate at IV on the skill queue, you can't also put cruiser on it until the Frig skill is finished.

I wish missions were remotely acceptable once they've been offered, too. I've warped to a mission system and forgotten to accept the mission many times.

I wish scripts had the word "Script" in their names.
IE "Optimal Range" Should be "Optimal Range Script"

Also on the same not.

Laser Crystals should have the name "Crystal" in their names.
IE "Standard M" should be "Standard Crystal M"

Projectile Ammo Types should have the word
"Shell" in their names.
IE "Depleted Uranium M" should be "Depleted Uranium Shell M"

Would make sorting and managing ammo and scripts much easier.

1) Being able to see the amount of damage to a used crystal when it isn't loaded, even if it means an extra right click.
2) Being able to see the amount of damage to a drone when it isn't in space, see above.
3) Being able to cancel a target lock, accidentally targetting a drone really is a pita.
4) Being able to repackage crystals and bpo's when they have never been used.
5) Being able to remove damaged crystals, modules and drones from ships remotely so you can put the ship in a contract.

1) missile launchers don't have a cooresponding 3d model that you can see on the ship like turrets have [but if adding it would cause lag in big battles then don't need it tbh:)]

2) have to select all, drag to cargo bay of ship, over and over, instead of just a one click method of 'put everything from this can into cargo bay'. [but if there already is a way to do this in one command pls tell me hehe, i keep learning new things on forums i shoulda known years ago:)]

I think this is from an accidental mouse-over event. In a mission there's so many icons out there, its easy to accidently mouse-over one for long enough that the view pans.

To contribute to the thread, my nagging issue atm is laser crystals not auto-reloading (when guns are stacked?) and not being able to tell how damaged they are.

And yeah, session timers of all sorts kinda suck.
