- when cloaked after a jump it isnt possible to change the collums of the overview, why? (i.e. to show velocity)
- everytime i dock an talk to an agent (with locationservice) to complete my mission or get a new one i have to click view mission
- it should be possible to set the soundoutput to another soundcard (like eve-voice can switch ouputs)

UI customization sucks, I can't move some things, somethings I can only move to certain places, can't resize things, ect... (guild wars lets you move pretty much everything around, and I think you can resize most things)

damage notifications, warp scrambling notifications, all show up in the same place, I'd really like incoming and outgoing damage to at least be offset (fully movable would be even better). less intrested in the scrambling and such as that shows up on the overview now.

things that bug me..

"this group of weapons is allready fully loaded"

"you cannot set a destination twice"

"you cannot blabla, because you did it allready"

"You can only **** out 5 of your 30 drones...because of blabla"

god damn...why do I get a messagebox that I have to click away. the voice is anoying enough..why do I get a message anyway? If I WANT TO SET A DESTINATION DOUBLE TIME...THEN DO IT! And dont tell me I can't.

@UI-Designer: Do not offer things that I am not able to do. Disable the buttons or something

well since you are already shifting things around in the right click menus, could we have toggle overheat as the first choice when clicking on a module?

I know its not a permanent solution, you need to do an UI overhaul which will include better overheating options, but for the time being, since you are already shifting them around, could put it at the top?

gameplay:
- session timers
- hybrid weapons suck
- sometimes my drones became rogue (don't focus fire, return to previous target even after i gave them a direct order etc..)
- can't connect my lost drones remotely (have to fly toward them)
- can't unload my implants(must use the 1\24h jumpclone)
- high SP clones cost too much
- can't order my ship to not allign on system grid after the complete stop
- can't rotate the camera 360degr vertically
- i want a free jump at x,y,z coordinates
- impossible to request, accept and complete kill missions remotely.. such a waste of time
- can't see what is going on outside the station or in the next system without going there
- warp to 0 on gate isn't precise enough
- frequency crystals...

gfx:
- dark lighting in amarr stations (sm3)
- terrible texture quality on Hyperion and Myrmidon
- acceleration gates were more cool with old blue tractor beams
- missing gallente station (pre trinity)interior on quafe stations
- rectangle shadows
- dislike most effects (sorry)
- warp effect appear and disapear too slow
- broken leg on drone dominix model
UI:

- claiming certificates makes the icon white (like the skill is completed)
- pinned windows are not transparent and dark
- "rmb on ship, open cargo, select all, move to hanger".. this can be a 1 button sequence
- no "sell all selected items" feature
- every time you create a market order, you have to change manually the order expiration date to 3 month
- no sort by meta level option
- can't move my probes, because their name overlap the arrows
- i want storage divisions in my hanger
- repair service window isn't user friendly
- can't link items directly from market

Got some more -

1. Stacking item in a full container fails because there is not enough room to stack the items that already exists in there....

2. Same as above but moving items from one tab in a corp hanger when it's full.

3. All modules being switched off when you launch from another ship (Orca, carrier etc)

I wish there was more diversity in the nebula backgrounds.

I wish that drone guns were on a swivel like a players guns because I will watch the and their guns don't move even though the direction of the laser does. How does the drone get to shoot something that is 68 degrees to starboard when its guns are facing dead center?

*Unable to repackage station containers because of log entrys(can we have an option to clear the logs? Even if it eve-mails the owner of the container?)
*Session change timers... who uses 56k still?
*Multi-select and batch sell, just a little pop up window that lists value, and comparison to market average(%) with tick on/off box's? (then if you want to create a sell order have to single do)
*Better orbiting, if i hit orbit at 4km for a 5km orbit, dont do a full u-turn to get out to range as quickly as possible, turn left/right a little and try to keep my speed up(perhaps a "settings" on right click of the orbit button?)
*Engine trails(although i heard their coming back w00t!)
*Report-a-macro pilot on right click Twisted Evil
*Leave weapons grouped when switching between fit's

Aside from that im very happy lately! (except for the incursion lag :P That one a few weeks ago was horrible for me, tengu in the center of a huge fleet of Bs's unable to lock or see incoming damage for a good 30-40 seconds lol)

Why???? If it is already set then just leave it set as is - nothing happens.

Oh I remember another one and I can't be the only one that has noticed this:

- Crappy notification that my fleet member needs reps. I have to be looking at my fleet window? Seriously? That thing is tiny. Can I set it to pop up next to or UNDER the damage notifcations? I would REALLY notice that much more.

There is an option in the window to remember your settings.
I did set it to three months just once, ticked the box and never bothered with it again.
Can also remember ranges..

On first point, you can doubleclick ship to open cargo, while in station. Just fewer menus. I hate using menus for everything. Still, too many clicks.

2nd point. When you select 3 month sell period, tick the "REMEMBER SETTINGS" and it will always be 3 months from here on in.

I'll add one I just recently got.


CHANGING SUBSYSTEMS - all modules offline if slotlayout differs, ****es me off. Can't see cap time, can't see if I have enough PG/CPU etc. I have to click the mods online and that is 15 mods every time I switch a subsystem and that can be 4-5 times in a minute just to see what my stats would be. I change subsystems daily because I do hisec and lowsec exploration, 2 different setups.

It's like going to fitting screen, selecting a fit, wanting to use that fit on current ship and ALL MODS ARE OFFLINE. You can do it for saved fittings, why is it not possible when switching subsystems on T3?



Another is: MODULES ARE TURNED OFF after jumping through a gate. In every MMO I have ever played, buffs (equivalent to modules) retain their status when traveling, even if it's across the world. I'm talking about shield/armor hardeners, sensor boosters etc.

Nos notification like being scrammed would be really nice in the overview.

And like other said all windows should be resizable to a standard size (for all windows).
I don't care for example for the local smack talk I just want to see if there are reds neuts or blues.
In the past you could size it so, that all you saw where other peoples ugly faces. :P Please bring that back.Surprised

I’m sure I’ll be mirroring a lot of what has already been said, but I’ve been working in this list for a while as well and it’d just be easier to post it as is. Repeated bullets are just a sign of an especially noticed problem. Smile

*Secure containers in cargohold - window automatically closes every time jump new system-especially annoying for cap pilots who need them now because of the smaller bays
*That annoying circle of icons that pops up if you happen to left-click and drag over your ship instead of in space.
*Entering in starbase pwd every time new system
*Copy/pasting bookmarks still a bit glitchy, maybe add options to rt-click menu? Extra copy options would be appreciated.
*Drone window always stacks when you dock – it should save open subcategories when undocking
*Overheat clicking area is too small
*Complete stacking move failure when trying to move more fuel than will fit into capital bays – should show a dialogue box of how many units to stack instead of failing to move the whole stack.
*When moving certain of the same things on top of each other (e.g. used t2 laser crystals, bpos, etc. on top of each other, moving the same fuel type on top of an existing one in different cap bays), you get a “you cannot stack” error and the move is canceled, instead of it just adding below the item.
*A more obvious cyno indication on overview. At least a brighter/more colorful icon, maybe even red for hostile, etc.
*An actual FUNCTIONAL and ACCURATE aggression/global crim countdown meter, taking into account, and resetting after, session changes, etc.
*Show amount of dmg/wear on laser/mining crystals?
*Session Change Timer: show progress bar or some sign of overall progress instead of just spinny circle thing in upper lft corner
*Actually, get rid of just about all the times the session change timer comes up. It’s useful for undocking/jumping into systems but really annoying in just about every other instance. (“I can’t jump because I just joined/changed spots in a fleet?”)
*Actual timer tooltip when hovering over lengthy duration mods like siege/cyno/industrial mods
*Titan bridge range still too short
*Selling stuff – have to click on Advanced window every time
*More obvious icon indication that you’re cloaked/uncloaked in cloak-capable ship.
*Allow “–“ in player-owned outpost names so people can label stations according to systems w/ “-“ in it.
*Kick/leaving corp 24 hr period a bit too long.
*It’s way too easy to disband an alliance.
*POS gunning roles w/in alliance, not just corp - debatable
*Show drone damage? Esp. good for droneboat/carrier/SC pilots.
*Add neocom button for cap navigation, can hide it under accessories or just have it pop up when in a jump-capable ship or sumfin
*add a “show with thrusters on” option when in ship viewer – a lot of ships look totally different when thrusters are turned on (esp t2 ships with more of them and stuff)
*Accessory ship bays: Extra icons added to UI to open fuel bay, fighters bay, corp hangar, ore bay, whatever-the-hell-else-bay-you-people-will-force-on-us-next to make micromanaging all the frikkin bays less frikkin awkward. Second thought, get rid of all the frikkin bays alreadeh. If people want to haul with their dread, let ‘em. It’s good for the lulz.
*Integrate the aggression timer to jump in with the session change timer (or some indicator of how long you can do anything). Do the same for siege/triage/industrial/doomsday cycles.
*Some kind of indication that the “jump to ___” command took when titan bridging instead of sitting there wondering, then reclicking it only to get an error message
*Bring back the old cyno effect, exit is fine but caps deserve a formidable “shocking” entrance

*Choice of font. Current is sometimes hard to read. Also make “.” and “,” more noticeable (maybe add a space instead of a comma or something). The comma should also auto-add instead of having to click another entry blank to make sure the commas are in the right place and the amount is the proper intent. “8”, “9”, and “0” also difficult to tell difference at times.
*Double-click looting for wrecks
*A countdown next to agent in tab somewhere that would show how many missions left till storyline?
*Having to configure your carrier every time you jump into a new system.
*“Contracts” icon in the neocom should light up when you are assigned a contract and you are offline. It currently only lights up and blinks if you are online and receive one.

Things that need to be just completely improved:

*CHAT WINDOWS. See just about every other mmo out there on how to do a chat window properly. Multiple channels in one window with customizable channel colors to denote channel. Ability to put different channels in different windows, or all the same. Talk in different channels with a “/ command” such as /c for corp, /a for alliance, etc. We have so much junk to put on our screens anyway, having to fill it up with a bunch of different chat windows is ridiculous. This has needed to end YESTERDAY.
*Contracts screens
*Wallet – more features for traders
*Sov bills – more warning and make it harder to accidentally forget to pay the bill, thereby instantly lose ALL space (more warnings plus maybe assess a fine w/ grace period?)
*Corp roles – esp. with pos roles and stuff. Corps should be able to give rights to various tasks (building, fueling, hangar access, gunning, etc.) w/out having to COMPLETELY TRUST that person

UI Feature Suggestions

*Racial/shipclass/flavor HUD – ability to change to classic, maybe buy diff UIs w/ LP
*Change mining to a minigame of sorts instead of an afk/bot snorefest. Have 6 or so different possible “events” randomly occur when mining a roid and have the pilot click the appropriate counter to mine successfully, get a bonus to yield, etc. (see Everquest 2 tradeskilling)
*Docking out of range, “setting course to docking range” then never docking later on (forcing people to spam click DOCK) – increase docking range to >500m. It’s been moved to 2500 for everything else, it should apply to docking as well.

- Damage controls should not need to be activated
- I shouldn't have to reactivate self-boosting modules (hardeners, sensor boosters, etc) after jumping
- I shouldn't have to continually enter and re-enter POS passwords, they should be savable to some ingame list and automatically verified when in-system
- Bookmarking a wormhole from the scan results window should not create a bookmark 3-4km off the wormhole
- I should be able to occasionally copy larger numbers of bookmarks, even if i can't do so continuously due to server stress.
- I should be able to directly copy an entire bookmark folder into one bookmark folder item in cargo, containing all bookmarks therein
- I should be able to copy bookmarks and bookmark folders into people and places without altering the original items (the inevitable cumulative errors with multiple people copying a given set to and fro is maddening)
- Bookmarks should be linkable via chat, ingame browser, evemails, and corporate bulletins (A corporate people and places window would be handy as well)
- Bookmarks should be able to use some shorthand notation in the naming for system name/locus ID, security/system class, current date/time, etc
- I should be able to change the default bookmark naming
- I should be able to shrink various UI windows far more than I currently can. Current UI window minimum sizes are still quite large at times

* Allow projectile effects to miss. This is a big one.

* Allow users to set the range at which the client renders certain models. It's ridiculous to have my client render hundreds of models in a large fleet battle when 80% of them are only a couple of pixels large. Drones in particular.

* Players should be able to group any modules into the same group. Don't stack them. Just put the corresponding group number on the top of each grouped module. If I want to activate my guns, scram and web all with one button, the client should accommodate this.

when I open a conversation with an agent, view mission, and then minimize it if I double click on the agent it goes back to the starting screen Evil or Very Mad

Some agent conversation windows will close on me when I dock or undock, and some won't. I want all agents to have the latter sort of behavior.

Inventory and ship management at a POS.

1. Someone explain why there isn't a personal inventory tab at a hangar array.
2. Someone explain why there isn't a personal ship tab at a maintenance array.
3. Someone explain why these are two separate structures in the first place.

There arent enough research/copying stations/slots in highsec and they're -always- full.

cant repair crystals to sell them, only refine

cant relog to an alt on the same account without rebooting the client and logging back in

complete lack of directional thrusters. i mean how can my ship turn with only the big thruster in the back. ever hear of Newton?

'Get info' from a station on your assets list brings up a rather 'useless' info window. Instead I have to go aaaaall the way to P&P, set for star systems, type in (part) of the name, hit enter, click on pop-up windows listed star system (provided I manage to type in the systems name correctly, was that an O or an 0?), *then* get to the info I need like how many jumps away is that station in that star system.

Why must this be so cumbersome?Crying or Very sad

Would be neat:
- in the fitting window in station, a small icon to "activate" a module and update the stats (and not having to undock or EFT to know ship's resists)
