Character sales. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the prices for characters should plummet after the patch, because they'll take a lot less time to train to a certain standard, and it's the training time we're paying for.

I haven't decided if now is therefore the best time to sell characters, because whoever buys one will be able to redesign his face after christmas, or the worst time because of the aforementioned.

Disclaimer: I am a vet who is very happy with the changes because it will encourage more new people to stay in the game so I can kill them so eve can continue to grow.

I like your name. One of the funnier Simpsons episodes.

Downward market speculation is not a negative point. The cure for cancer may cause less people to buy wigs. Big deal.

Is the standard of living in Russia really that low? Does natural hair really sell for that much? It's not like they're shaving it off every month or so.

REMOVING LEARNING SKILLS WILL REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF SOMETHING BAD FOR THE GAME ANYWAY?

HOW TERRIBLE

It's only a downside if you're selling. If you're buying characters, this is actually a good thing. That's market relativity for you.

Well if you sell a character now you can sell it with up to 5.4 million free relocatable SP plus a face change, I don't see how that can be bad?

In the future you can skill up your Hulk/Tengu/Orca pilot a bit faster and yes, probably you also get a little less for it. I don't see prices drastically dropping, what ISK per months invested is concerned.

OK...THATS IT! I've had it with all of these things that make the game better for players and might give it longevity and a bigger player base!

Actual training time remains the same, all you'll see is more SP per 100m, nothing more. In the short term it means that characters will be worth less untill they've caught up to the new standard.

The removal will boost sales in the beginning, selling a character that can remap X million SP will be worth a whole lot more than a char having learning to 5.

Then it might drop slightly, but most likely no major change.

I'm for anything that discourages character sales. That's meta gaming. It doesn't add to the game.

real shaved hair for extensions/wigs is a booming business
in india, one shaving job nets you a normal month salary or more if you find the right buyers (rich bald white chicks)

I think you can get like $40-$50 for good hair (depending on the length) in the US.

I'm betting that Certifications will simply step in and fill the void.
Look for things like Characters with a Core Elite Cert, or "Profession" Elite to become the new standard.
