How about making pods more survivable on Sisi?
setting resistances 99.99999%
increasing hp

This would help prevent "accidental" podding, and allow some aoe weapons to be used in tests

Surely, assuming it won't break the game, the logical conclusion to this is giving pods 100% resists on Sisi. Would also lead to much hilarity when a Dev accidentally maps this on to TQ in a late night rush to finish his/her portion of an upcoming patch.

Surprised

OMG CCP DO IT!

not using things like smartbombs and such hurts testing!

like for instance, has there ever been a study into the lag caused when a TON of pilots all try to lock a pod the second they get the kill? spamming the lock button as much you possible can is standard business.

I was assuming that 100% resists might not be desirable for some reason (may be a system setting for something like negative tracking is/was)

CCP are finding small optimizations all over the place, but smartbombs are never looked at on sisi large scale. 2 close fleets w/ drones and all highslots as smartbombs might be a useful test

Also would certainly clear up the test forum of ban requests..

edit: polaris ships only have 99.9% resists

Bump because yes. I see no downsides to having 99% resist pods, with that Titan-like ability to be immune to interdiction. Then bombs and smarties would be a lot more allowed, and testing could be more realistic. Almost. =P
