In the patch notes its states:

A new option, “Horizontal offset” has been added to the settings menu. It allows the player to have all menus on one monitor and focus on his ship in another monitor.

So I can't find this option. Where is it and how do i use it?

How does that help me put just menus/chat channels on one screen? That just makes everything messed up if i slide it to one side or the other.

It puts your camera (i.e. ship) in the middle of one screen or another, effectively.
You can move the capacitor orb at will as well.

I think the other option - the one below the slider - has an effect on the HUD's positioning relative to the camera.
I haven't had a chance to get my head around it yet (client runs like a freighter in dualscreen).

yepper, thats it. you can center your ship on one of your screens in window mode. the other function to apply the camara offset to the ui does not do anything in here, so the ship is centered but the ui is staying centered to absolute center of the wided screen (A+B)...i guess it's a bug ;D
