I've read the patch notes and I was wondering about the T2 short range ammo buffs, It seems that only applied to the Turret T2 Ammo types this patch. Are the Rage and Fury Guided and unguided Missiles getting a buff in one of the next 2 parts of the expansion?

Looks great so far.

Love the client resize feature :)

Only thing is, if you sort your mods in your hanger by 'type', MWDs and ABs are mixed up rather than being sorted by 'type'.

Is it just me or some graphic shaders have been changed, at least for the "Low" shader quality option... The picture looks slightly different...

Antialiasing is awesome, but it's too heavy for my laptop (GeForce 8400M G)
Resizeable and fixed window is epic win, now i can set it 1280x768 and forget about Alt+TAB...
Smooth warp feels good, as well as smooth tractor beam... It's so smooth now... Like smooth... emmm... you know... smooth... thing...

I'm looking forward for some more usability improvements... Font scaling maybe?..

There is no mention of it in the patch notes, but whatever you have done has dramatically improved the UI window opening response time. Even launching the game is much much faster.

This alone would be worth an expansion, great job :)

Much less lag also in space jumping through gates, load of new system much quicker.

Fixed Window mode only works on single display setups. There's no way to tell Eve which monitor you want the window fixed to for multi-display setups.

Relocator in EVEMon will let you chose which monitor, if that's any help.

It would, if it worked post-patch, and we're talking about the Eve client features, not the third-party.
Select a different output for each client. Each attached monitor should add an entry in the "Display Adapter" dropdown menu. At least that's how it seems to work. I.e. "ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series 1", "ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series 2" ... "ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series N".

I had no problems so far (which wasn't the case in previous patches). I'm actually quite happy with this patch because it feels complete.
Only thing which is confusing is the Right-Click-Menue in the market browser, where some entries where changed. After working for years with the same entries it is quit amusing to find Cancel Order @ the View Market Details entry.

It's been said before in many places, but it seems to not be getting through ...

"Optional" patches offered only from the client DO NOT WORK for people using Linux (via Wine).

They are made of fail.

Please offer them as a point release or something similar on the download page.

I'd rather not be the one to say this, since I'm sure you're intimitely aware of this, but Linux is not a platform we support. Further more, the mechanism we use for the in-client updates isn't something that can be nicely deployed as a point release for you to download.

The 4.4 meg fix patches that download without closing the client have been working for me under WINE with no issues (these end in your client will now restart), the major version change patches still need to be downloaded from the manual site, but I haven't had any problems with these minifixes at all. ( WINE 1.3.6 atm )

CCP overall love it

Concern 1
For the love of ... please add confirm to Cancel Order or give it a blank space or some kind of separation ... ug

I get asked if I am sure I want to repair 124.01 isk ....

Concern 2
Meta levels on meta 6+ appear to have been removed, was that on purpose? I know they all have the new icon which looks like a font is missing, but in item compare, it was really easy to order everything by clicking meta level, and then removing meta 9+ etc. Is there a reason this designation was removed?

The new fixed windows mode and the resizing of the client window are all fine and dandy and actually pretty awesome, BUT: in order for it to be really nice it would have to enable me to actually have the client window in the faux fullscreen (fixed windows mode) across both my screens without any desktop visible. So far this is impossible because a) it is impossible to resize the client window to fill the entire screen without borders (at least in win7) and b) I cannot manually input the desired client resolution manually. So I am left with a pretty decent window size, but the immersive effect suffers a whole lot without a visual fullscreen. And it's so frustrating too, because its not really a technical issue, I would suspect, but rather the user simply hasn't been given the right interface to resize the client to the exact desired resolution.

Don't like all the reordered menu items. I'm having to hunt through right click menus to find the item I want because most of the items have moved around, particularly "Make Active" when right clicking a ship ahs gone from the middle to the top, and "View in Planet Mode" has gone from the middle to the bottom.

Could I discover why this item quoted in patch notes `•Javelin has had its velocity penalty removed`, has in fact not been implemented??

(I already sent in a bug report)

Easy solution: resize to desired size in normal window mode, then switch to fixed window mode. It will keep the same window size.

Great patch, the new columns in hangar view - win! Sorting through loot will be far simpler (nice to have less metal scraps tho..).

One minor gripe only, and that's with the window-resize.
I can tilt my monitor 90 degrees, and get 960 pixels width in fixed-window to work.
But as soon as I change to normal window mode it snaps to 1024 width.

I would very much like to split-screen on a 1920x1080 monitor, so 1024 width don't work too well, needs 960.

Echo above post in allowing manual entry of width x height numbers, maybe origin X,Y too. (even the prefs.ini file would be fine for this imo)
Would be great to have 2 fixed-window no-title-bar running split screen for mining.

Really good job, CCP!

Being in the SW industry myself I appreciate the work you have done!

Now keep the good work up in terms of quality in your releases for the next 2 Incursion updates! I'm confident you can make it!

Read his question again. That's possible for one monitor, yes. But he has the same problem as me with doing it with 2 monitors!

Great patch so far, got in tonight, updated all 3 clients easily including the optional patch and all logged in in approx 10 mins. Not sure why people are moaning about the yellow splash screen when the client loads, looks ominous and obviously a Sansha ship .. duh!

Not sure what you've done but speed has noticably improved with salvaging, dragging items from cans is now back to what it was about 6 months ago, very quick dragging from hold to hanger.

Had a quick play around with resizing screens and now have 2 full size screens on dual monitors, looks sweet as Cool

Top notch so far CCP .. looking forward to the next releases Smile

Ok ccp, its time for my rant, yall did good so far. however, the first thing,MAKE THE NOCTIS BPO AVAILABLE IN EMPIRE!.getting the the ore station in pure blind is all most inposable due to heavly gate camps, massive loses on the pilot trying to get a bpo and come back to empire. that is what yall did wrong,
i purpose, make all npc stations 0.0,empire and low sec have these bpos, and set the price to 190 million isk.2nd of all, drones, drones, drones, they are still splitting2 or more and attacking 2 different targets.
that still need to be fixed. other than that everything esle to me is working fine.great graphics,my cpu load went from 45% down to 30% load, great job ccp.

thanks

I have two identical screens, running of a 5770 card on Windows 7 HP 64bit. I spanned it over via drag and drop, then hit on fixed window, and moved the bias of the camera to the left, and also enabled "interface with camera" under the bias option.

This sorted it for me.

EDIT: I also set the taskbar to autohide... hovering it over the start globe returns the taskbar.

Question about the Noctis. One of my corp members tried entering a site with it and it is not allowed. will you be fixing this to allow this class of ship in certain DED sites?

Great new version, I'm impressed.
Windows resizing : fantastic!

Thanks CCP for all your hard work.
Looking forward to your incursions and character creator (but, not Dec. 14th).

The patch is great, however in the notes it says all faction and special awarded ships can be sold on the market, however i was unable to do so with my Primae during a test of this, nor was i able to access the market details.

Don't like the color or character choice for the new overlay icons. I was expecting something more in tune with the ones already implemented in some killboards, as those were really nice, so Crying or Very sad.

Everything else is good so far Wink

Dear CCP:

I am a bitter vet. One whom poor folks like Fallout, Applebabe and other forum and game moderators have had the joy of dealing with. I have been very bitter since the release of Dominion when you broke Eve with an ill fated attempt to push more untested undeveloped features into the game despite people like myself informing you of how flawed these features were after testing on singularity.

You have had a large amount of pressure over the last 12 months to identify and fix errors in the gaming code and it finally appears that the accountants and the shareholders are starting to learn. This 1/3 expansion appears to be the best release since Apocrypha.

Thank you for listening to your customers. Thank you for listening to the CSM. They understand the game better than any group on the planet (including CCP).

Yours sincerely Jita Alt666

PS Long Live T'amber

Dear Conrad:
With great reward comes great risk. If you desire the great reward you have 2 options: man up and accept the risk. or forfeit the reward. PS I think you will find the noctis bps were seeded in outer ring. 4 regions away from pure blind.
