Hi,

Who was never clic on "trash it" when he want select his ship!
I never understand why "Trash it" and "make active" are neighbor in menu option.
The error is quick!

We have warning message with bad choice but we make this action all days. "ATTENTION! "Is the death of your precious ship!" ugh
When you "make it" techIII you have warning message with same appearance than the "trash it" message. You read all the days (each change of ship) this message to make sure is not a "trash it" and if you make bad clic?
The error is quick!

That why i have a idea,
create a "reclycle" where you can only restore your "trash" items. The recycle are cleaned automaticly with EVE downtime.
It is not difficult to implement for CCP

What do you think? Wink

I think you're complaining about the same issue, like 100,000,000 other threads have in the past :P

you can disable the warning about tech 3, you can't disable the trash it warning Wink

I usually just click on the ship and drag it into the main part of the window, avoids the whole right clicking bit all together.

I agree it is utterly terrible UI design but isn't the warning box that pops up enough warning for you to not trash the ship?

The warning can be disabled iirc. It should be in a submenu though, no matter what.

Destruction -> Trash Ship
Trash -> Trash Object
Destroy -> Destroy Object

Or something.

Or you can just move the "trash" down a few places on the list as they have already done in the latest SISI build.

The fact that the 2 options are nearby is dumb.
Concerning the recycle bin, i'm not quite sure. It might by hard for the game to manage another item list.

A warning message might be ok !

Please, add a popup confirmation or move this item at the bottom of menu.

So now 'Trash It' is right next to 'Repackage' instead. Could still be an issue if you're like me and repackage modules when they're not in use.Confused

could give it a second level

repackage-> Yes, DO IT
-> get me out of here

that shouldn't be too painful for anyone and enough of a clue you aren't where you thought you were

Why do people ever trash anything at all? Just leave it in a station you never use until CCP fixes the UI ...
