is it worth me coming along to this as don't want to be holding ppl back but want to play my part in trying to make sure that Traq has as few bugs and lags as possible

basicly, what do i need to do?

hello
a mistake has been made. i have participated in 3 mass tests...
2 tests ago i missed because of the massive download i had to do before login on by that time i had missed the test..
a total of 4 tests.
but i did have 4 million sp before the mirror already applied..
now i participated in a total of 3 mass tests now and i was only allocated 4 mil sp.
can you fix this for me it doesnt make since to take the 4 mil i already had before this last test away from me only to give me only what i had already back and not a reward of the xtra 2 mil for this last test against the sansha pos.
thank you in advance.
because i know you guys are fair!!

i too have the same situation. 3 mass test i participated and i only got 4mil back.. including this one
it doesnt make sense to tae my already 4 mil away. to only give me 4 back..
i understand the mirror thing but if your only going to return for the last 3 mass tests.. it offsets me by 2mil
another words. the reason for me participating the last test (of which i cut college class short to come and participate in (not to mention the 2 hour testing) this mass test.. to only be robbed of 2 mill i already had!!!

totaly not fair guys.. doesnt give me incentive to want to participate again.Confused

Just want to give some production server (Tranq.) feedback since all of this testing has taken place: performance is still utter **** in big conflicts. I cannot speak to the reinforced status of the node, but every single aspect of controlling a ship in space is performing terribly.

Details: my associates and I jumped into a highly populated system recently. While a handful of personnel loaded grid and were able to function somewhat normally, a majority of mates had highly unresponsive clients resulting in the inability to fight, lock a target, maneuver their ship, etc. Some mates never loaded grid before they were in a pod or in their fresh medical clone.

Neither turning off game features nor brackets made a difference.

In my case, module activation and de-activation was on a ~10 minute cycle after the grid loaded. Logging off and attempting to log back into the game to clear up some of these issues resulted in repeated failures to enter the game.

The eve client is fully patched, CPU utilization hasn't reached any higher than 70% with plenty of RAM available for use. Internet connectivity is excellent. So, what's left? CCP servers.

Still crap. And, no thank you, I am not going to allocate valuable time to CCP to test their commercial product. Utter nonsense.

I think that the 2 mill sp should be given on the tranqill server instead the test server becuase even if you train something to lvl 5 and be able to use or even better your skill on the test servers its going to get wipe out when yall mirror the test server again so way give 2 mill sp on a test server? I propose put the 2 mill sp to those that went to the mass testing on the players toon they use in the tranqil server.

Could this post please be updated.

I'd like to query the list WRT the test on Tues 16th Nov. The test was an actual test, hosted by CCP, it took longer than the 2 hours due to the insane speed of the supercarrier.

I stayed up till 5am (Please consider Australians when scheduling) to participate in the test from start to end. I stayed up that little bit longer to submitted feedback on the test.

Considering its in the sisi calendar marked 'incursion mass testing CCP' tuesday 16th, I dont see why this test isnt included in the free SP for participating. I'd anticipated the SP reward but apparently this test was not classed as a 'mass test' and therefore no SP.

Anyhow, I hope its just that you havent got around to updating this post (last update 15th), and you also have the intention of rewarding the participants of the 16th test and that is also pending...

TIA and regs, Sed.

this also acts like it downloads..after this is finishe it states that the downloaded file is corrupt.... can you please fix this?

i look forward to logging back on to apply my earned sp. from the last mass test.

Hi, I just started playing so I'm quite green.
Couple of questions.
- Singularity is like a Test server? So anything done there won't affect to my character.
- This one is kind of redundant if above is true. But I won't lose my ship/equipment?
- People are saying some strange stuff I don't quite understand about the reward. But the 2m points will be applied to my character on the main server?
- Would you even want a total newbie there?

Sisi is a test server. The TQ database is periodically mirrored to the Sisi database, so your character on Sisi will be a snapshot of your character at the time that the mirror was performed.

Bad news - Yes you will lose your ship.

Good news - stations on Sisi are seeded with pretty much everything you could ever want at 100 ISK a piece. For a few thousand ISK you can be flying that fully T2 fit ship of your dreams.

The 2 million SP they are taking about is on Sisi only.

Good fun, no risk, and it helps CCP provide a better game experience on TQ.

Yes,
No, not on the main server. Everything is 100 isk at most stations on the test server, it doesn't matter.
No, it'll be applied to the test server.
Yes, i'm sure they would.

Giving such a fake reward will not bring any interest to players, I wouldnt even bother reinstalling SiSi, give like 100-200K sp on Tranquillity instead, half your active players will show up.

I lol'd.

Not like they're saying " OH GUYS! LOOK! 2M SP TO USE*

*on the test server only"

Considering you're not just trolling, i'm 90% sure you are though.

I love the testserver. Allowes me to test out stuff at a nice price before I go invest on stuff on production server. The 2mill SP is a great bonus that makes it worth while.

Is the testing of getting learning SP back considered a mass test? Like if you reset the mirror after the two planned tests (9th and 18th) will you then get 5+2+2=9M SP?

Keep up the good work and keep letting us help to make it a better game!

I'd like to help with these tests.

But I have no SP in singularity to fly a ship. Not even T2 weapons.

Someone suggested in some other post to create some sort of "Reward Pool" where you add up reward SP gained from masstests, to reapply the whole bunch after mirroring TQ.
I realize it's a bit more work-needed but don't you think it'd be more rewarding to have some sort of long term system which could get your fellow testers more faithful ?

Don't get me wrong, the existing rewarding system is fine as it is, it's just a thought :)

Can we request that accounts that may be inactive due to not being active for an extended period of time on Tranquility be reactivated for the purpose of running multiple accounts for mass testing?

tl;dr inactive accounts that aren't subbed on tq, wat do?

Will the test still be running at 0:00, T+4 hours, the following day?

I'm US-based, and 20:00 is the middle of the work day for me.

(No, joining the fleet fight from work is not an option. :) )

Thanks,

I just cant simply keep up with double accounts *(on two servers) especialy when I already have more than one... a reward with tranquility that stacks there is the best answer, make it start low and stack... makes peeps regret missing a test. Attendance problem solved ... dedicated players rewarded... win win answer
