Dearest Crowd Control Productions
I noticed in another thread in this informative yet light hearted medium that one of your moderators cited an evasion of the profanity filter as justification for locking a thread, yet I have seen many other threads where no attempt to evade the use of profanity was made, of course in such threads, the aforementioned profanity filter did what it says on the tin and filtered the profanity ... yet moderators permit this type of thread to continue unlocked.
So my question is ... would you prefer the contributors of this fine forum to use profanity as opposed to making a concerted effort to mask it?
Of course we are all grown up and can work out (generally) what the poster is implying ... but it seems somewhat harsh to lock a thread (no matter how boring) due to the posters efforts to un-profanicate (made up word).
Just seeking clarification because I would hate to see a thread of mine locked for saying **** you when I was simply trying to mask my amourous feelings towards the reader (and I mean love btw not ****)
