Facebook and Social Networks in general. so many people expect you to be active on these sites, while frankly I do not see why it is so important to be able to say you just got some Starbucks or a burger, nobody cares. Meanwhile the "video games are evil" crowd continue to say MMOs are evil and are not social, while they sit there putting more time into Farmville than even some hardcore players put into WoW or EVE. |

Just like I can´t be bothered to explain the Van Allen Belt to you and how much shielding a couple of layers of saran wrap provides.
Google it.
So Apollo 11 was not tracked by radio telescopes from several nations including the USSR? you really think the Russians would have been quiet and kept the evidence under their hats instead of gleefully embarrassing the Americans? OK. |

Nah, that was sort of ok. The one you're looking for is "debt". Or, "loans".
Not necessarily a bad thing in themselves - it depends on the rate of interest levied. I'll go with Thomas Midgely. |

TV - Worst invention ever.
Most **** people say these days was something stolen from something they saw on TV
I could on and on in detail but I am so fed up with hearing TV stolen quotes & comebacks that I cant be bothered arguing.
Oh and how do I know they are stolen from TV and not other sources, easy just stop watching TV for 10 years and when you notice everyone being and acting the same, switch on a TV for a day and you will notice how most of the bull**** you hear everyday comes directly from popular shows / movies.
Besides TV is so inconsistent it isnt healthy to humans anyway
Watch something, think about it, become it or hate it

Probably the weirdest thing I have even seen was an American family - mother, father and son zoom through Paris on segways. First time I went to Paris as a kid I nearly got run over by a French driver ignoring a pedestrian crossing. Being British and so a sticker for public etiquette I was shocked at such a disregard for the sovereign rights that are bestowed to humanity by road signs and markings |

Don't ever go to NYC, the cabbies are playing Death Race 2000 out there. I bet they even have a point chart somewhere for what they hit. But we should add the Model T Ford to the list. Ford did not invent the car, I think that was in fact the Germans(Likely it was related to Benz as one of the very first) But the mass produced affordable car doomed us to Suburbs and Traffic jams. |

MoneyNot need, but greed has created the entire monetary system of Earth. As a drug addict we are addicted to the idea that we need "money to survive". Logic dictates that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Before the global dominance of 'modern' culture and economics, many indigenous people lived in perfect harmony with nature without any need of money. In these cultures "old fashioned” bartering, sharing and cooperation for the good of all was the basis for commerce. Today the monetary system and the money masters behind them are pulling the strings in all life on the planet. They are hidden in plain sight. It’s a pyramid scheme for millions of players but with predetermined winners, the comparative few who amass and control the world’s wealth. As the boom and burst cycles that wipe out the middle class, like a prey caught in a spider web of debt. |

Gunpowder- It's ironic really, how it was discovered by accident while attempting to find a formula for immortality, yet it changed warfare dramatically. People could now kill eachother more efficiently, from far away, and (eventually) faster than any other weapon invented.
Industrialization- Whatever happened to having pride in what you do or create? Now if you want a sofa you go to Rooms to Go or some place else, and know your couch was made in an assembly line (Unless you were actively looking for a specifically hand made couch). What ever happened to taking pride in "having the best cheese in town"? Sounds stupid but seriously, almost everything you buy is pretty much meaningless and comes with a label.
Capitalism- 'nuff said. |

Aditional advantage, back then large percentage of babies born died within their first year and the average life spawn was very short, so no overpopulation. Also not this crap about caring for your elderly, since they died every winter anyway. |
