Article from massively.com here.

I know FFXIV was bad, but I guess its bad enough for someone to sell all of his stock. :O

I would call that less of a ragequit, and more of a "**** you idiots for not making a single good game in 3 years I'm getting my money out of you failures" intelligent stockholder decision.

A man speaking with his wallet. Not really rage like. Now, if he started a rage thread on the companies/games forums, then it could be epic.

Square-Enix experienced a definite dip in stock value on the 7th, dropping from 1800 yen a share to 1735 a share before recovering later in the day

ITT: market savvy Japanese game player manipulates market to make a killing. I'm guessing he bought back his own stock when it dipped and pocketed the difference.

Sounds to me like he saved himself the rage of losing those millions.

If anyone is raging, it's square enix now that news of how bad this is keeps hitting the news.

"According to Japanese sources, this was preceded by a rather angry dispatch from a shareholder explaining that he was so disgusted by Final Fantasy XIV he no longer wanted any of the stock. While there is some debate as to the chain of events and their veracity, it would certainly make this event the ultimate response to the question of "can I have your stuff?" I was tired of the Final Fantasy series half way through 8. Never finished it.

If it's anything like FFXIII, I can't blame him. I bought it expecting a game, but it's actually a movie where you have to press a few buttons every now and then.
