Hi there!

--Machine info:
-Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
-AMD Phenom II 1055T x6 2.8 ghz, 3.3 ghz turbo core ( boosts core speed in stressfull situations )
-Gigabyte 460 GTX 1gb
-4GB RAM

----------------------------------------------

Graphics settings: All on high ( highest possible )
Anti-aliasing: 16xQ
Avarage FPS brackets disabled zoomed in: 11 FPS
zoomed out: 30 fps

I've upgraded my PC this week. From a 8800GT and intel E6800 2x 2.8 ghz and 4 gb ram to the above specs. With all settings on high and AA on 16xQ i'm pretty danm impressed.
I'm giving this a 7+ score. very playable

No problems with AA

I have to say, module lagg was minimal. Almost no server sided lagg at all, so that's a big plus aswell! keep up the good work CCP!!

* Did you experience any problems with Anti-Aliasing?

Yes, I don't have an option to enable it. Disabled is the only option in advanced display settings.

* Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:

I've never done big fleet stuff before, so I don't know what it is currently like. I am usually solo or in a small gang. During the test, jumping into systems took a few minutes. I am not used to it taking so long on TQ. Fleet audio worked fine, as did target broadcasts.

The worst part was that my clients (I was using two characters) kept freezing and crashing, at different times (i.e., not together). Each of the clients also got disconnected a couple of times, also not simultaneously.

A suggestion for next time: please have fleet adverts up.

Waiting for a fleet invite took a long time. During the final stages of the fight, after I crashed and logged back in, a bunch of us didn't receive an invite. That is totally understandable, as the person doing the fleet invites also called targets, and so on. It would be easier if there were an advert up and instead of asking to join the fleet, the mass test participants could join on their own accord.

Edit: I forgot to add that after my last crash, I had to restart my computer. After restarting and logging in, my ship was still near the gate (it didn't e-warp out), and had a target lock on a Guardian. I never locked that ship (I have target back at 0).

Same until fighting started then way worse.

* Did you experience any problems with Anti-Aliasing?

Yes, 3 crashes severely reduced frame rate when fighting started.

* Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:

This had far fewer than previous tests but with AA enabled (2x for me) it was loads, tons, majorly worse fps wise.

You guys encourage us to bring alt accounts but then you say stuff like a-l turn off aa and the rest leave it on. Following that can be a bit confusing.

Interestingly i turned it off for my A character and left it on for my X character. The A character had a good enough frame rate (5) while the X character had less than 1. This was running both on the same system btw.

Logged in, and right side pannel was gone.(No ship or Inventory Stuff). Couldnt undock either. Relogged 5 times trying to fix.
Finally figured out what channel I needed and got moved and Poof I was in space, in my Crow. Had 16q enabled during all of this. Managed to get into the fight and Frame rate whent from 51/58(with me alone in space) to 7/.05ish in the fight. During the Fight I changed my AntiAlising from 16q to 8 to see if I could get a FPS boost. It seemed to give me a small one,(I was seeing 7fps a lot more) but the game was still not playable

•Did you have anti-aliasing enabled during the fight at the end?
Yes

Never been in a Fleet fight of this size on main server. Cant conpare.

•Did you experience any problems with Anti-Aliasing?
On very first client Startup, After I played with New character creator, I when into main game. Sitting in station, with No buttons no ship visable and no inventory, I desided to enable 16q to see if my buttons would work. Client crashed. After that one crash It never crashed again even in the fight with brackets off.

•Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:
Love the New Toon maker!!!! Didnt know we are suppose to get SP for this test. Thats a Huge bonus. I will Gladly join more If U keep that up.

After I got popped and managed to find my way back to a station and when I redocked in my egg, Buttons were gone again and I couldnt see my ship.

AA and brackets off during final fight - 3-6 fps zoomed out

jumping was much faster than before, less mod lag, but after i successfully jump through i crash in a couple of minutes, after every jump, and in final fight. All seems faster/more responsive but horribly crashy...

No

Two crashes, both right after jumps and in fleet.
As the the fight happens, the targeting becomes messy, and drones get plenty of idle time. Maybe the Auto Targeting module could be featured more prominently here, locking targets from the opposing fleet.

Did you experience any problems with Anti-Aliasing?
Not really, was laggy all around and required lowest graphics settings to even use.
Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:
Lots of lag, the overview was messed up and would not filter out fleet members. So just shot whatever could be locked, which wasn't much in the end. Was cool to see over 400 people online though.

No problems with AA during test.

Avg FPS: zoom out with AA(4x) 56-60, zoomed in with AA(4x) 16-17.

I would rate the FPS as a 1 compared to TQ.

The game played fine until the alot of players came in the system, then FPS went from normal to untolerable. I also had random flashes across my screen occur during combat.

After working on the new character creater, I found it would be nice to have a reset button added to sculpting. I found alot of times it was hard to undo some of my tweaking to the characters faces.

Other thoughts: I used both my accounts during the test and the resualts were the same for both accounts.

not during the test itself, but i saw white blobs on the roids in the incursion mining dungeon, might be AA-related

  • Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:
crashed in the incursion system (Harroule?) about half a minute after jumping through. Might have been the time when the incursion status changed. Just before it crashed i restored a minimized private chat window and started typing.

When jumping in/out of Harroule, the hue of the background/skybox seemed to change to reddish, not sure what that indicates (if anything).

Lag wasn't bad during the combat portion.

Somewhat annoying that mass testing/incursion testing systems aren't seeded. MHC is 2 jumps out from a seeded market, that's five minutes down the drain every time you need to refit or reship, and they really start to add up when you have to do that often, which really gets old after a while.

Win 7 home premium 64 bits, video ATI radeon 5770, CPU intel core i3 cpu 530 at 2.93ghz, ram 4 gbytes.

fps 20, then 5,3,2.

Here is my report;
As soon as I jumped to the camp using the gate, I been targetted like expected then my ship exploded. But I been logged out at this moment of the game completely! I then relogged in and escape in my capsule to a station and everyting was normal.

I couldn't use HDR and Anti-Alias together. With both enabled the screen just went black and nothing more happens.Had to run Eve in Save mode to switch of HDR and Anti Alias to get it working again.

My Client crashed several times after jumping through the Gate for the Battle. Two times it crashed in the Battle. Log Server gave me arround 315MB of Error Logs.
Btw,I like the new Ship Menu in the Market. Its much better organized now. The Large Fleet Battle was kinda fun.

Cant really comment on that since my last big fleet fight before this one was long time ago.

Did you experience any problems with Anti-Aliasing? NO

Describe your experience: Experienced some client lag when the fight started since I was zoomed in but when I zoomed out everything went back to normal and I did not have problem activating module during the fight. I had some problem docking in station but that was not part of the test.

* Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: After the first Ships goes down, it was Playable. Up to 3 GB of main memory use simply is too much. This is also a beginning dot against the felt lag.Cool
