Are you also interested in information from those of us who couldn't participate in the mass test, or are you just hunting down performance information on the stuff that actually does work?

Did you experience any problems with Anti-Aliasing?
Could not enable.

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:
Horrible, really. Several crashes ( on this and alt (Mineral90) ), forgot to run logserver on either, so FTL there. Test went alright, not many mishaps that I could see ( player side ), but the Cap ship/no cap ship thing was a bit confusing. Haba did well answering questions, and Tillman, as always, FC'd very well.

Did you experience any problems with Anti-Aliasing? sometimes there is a minor graphical glitch where small white circles appear where there is a border i.e. planet/space
Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: raise DX to 11 asap, will help higher end cards cope, module lag was much better but as fight went on it started to decline,

Test: 14.10.2010
OS: Windows 7 64bit
CPU: Intel i5 520 2.4GHz
GPU: ATI Mobility radeon HD 4570
RAM: 4G

Antialiasing: x4 but with other settings 'optimized for performance'
FPS: zoome out 50 zoom in 20 average 30 (better than last time)
Performance: 8
Problems with AA:
- not certain, but I think there was some AA already before I turned it on
- no performance penalty
- client crashed during the fight

Comments:
All in all good performance. I had no grid after one jump and had to relog. During the fight client crashed. Regretably I had no log server running. I also tried 'optimize for quality' but than FPS was between 1 and 5 in fleet (before the fight). The grafics (without AA) somehow look different than on TQ. Whe I opened ship fitting view I lost my selected items window and the overview got displaced. After Alt+Enter it was fine again. The Help/Tutorials window is bigger than before (I think) and partially empty in the Help page.

Edit:
Want to add that EVE looks good in AA. Laughing

low end system.

This time, I had no brackets on and Eve Voice. FPS was better, but I feel blind without the feedback of brackets.

This time I crashed after every jump, about 45 seconds after jumping (most info on display was stable and I was actively orbiting). By the time the last jump and fight occurred, I had stopped using Voice to see if it made a difference, but with FleetX jumping on top of me, it was unclear why yet another crash occurred. No minidump found.

On a scale of 1-10, how would you compare FPS and performance between this test and TQ? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome)

Never been in a large scale fleet battle, but as far as just moving around space with AA turned on, I couldn't notice any difference in FPS, so 5

Did you experience any problems with Anti-Aliasing?
No

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:

Maybe it was something I did, but as soon as we jumped into the system where the fleet vs fleet battle occured, my overview (was pinned at the time) magically unpinned itself and moved mostly off-screen (top left).

For the few seconds I was alive, the module response time seemed reasonable (1-2 seconds for weapon group, defensive mods, and AB), but when my ship was destroyed, it took a good minute for it to actually explode and release my pod.

A quick test in sum.
One thing seen:
In Harroule, every object had a green tint while the incursion was in effect (with and without AA); When jumping, there was a short time when incursion was off and me still in system - and everything had a red tint the moment incursion was gone. After jump all normal again.

yes on one account no on the other

6 - due to jita mass test being only other large scale op i would say it was better than that when it was heavy with one alt in jita and one in quiet system

* Did you experience any problems with Anti-Aliasing?

no problems with anti aliasing, didnt seem to be any difference between alt with AA and alt without AA

* Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:

multiple crashes on both clients with and without AA but seemed during fight that the non AA client held up better overall

interesting experience, would have been more fun with more smaller fleets spread out but wouldnt help with load testing ;P

mainly pve so no real knowledge of pvp so cant help there :(

fps = avg 7in-5out :( usually 70+ on SiSI
Rating scale = 1(bad)
Not sure if AA had anything to do with it , but my client was in a "Stop-Motion" type play, real bad stutter - 1st time I've experienced that
Got DC'd 3 times & could not align/target to good - death was bestowed on me , lol.
Also - my skill points from latest mirror - um... incorrect Evil or Very Mad
But as this is SiSI no complaints on SP issue however - the DC's & stutter was UN-Playable (Raan Kor)

No Anti Alising

FPS zoomed out was around 25-30 with 2 windows, 15-30 zoomed in

I run with dual monitors, but i noticed that the client i had on my secondary monitor crashed repetatly. When i disabled that monitor and brought both clients onto my main, i crashed only once, once the fight started (both Clients). After logging back in, FPS increased dramatically, was stable 35 ish on both clients zoomed in until i rejoined fleet, in which the fps dropped to around 4 to 5 and stayed until i died and left the field. I did try to reset my overview and such, but it had no effect.
