Ok, at least some thing have become clearer, only a few tweaks left (although very important ones.

Certain parts:
=======================================================================
Fractal Design Define R3 Titanium Grey - 99.90e (nice looking, and quiet)
Gigabyte GV-N460OC-1GI NVIDIA GeForce GT 231.90e (double fans and thus lower speed on fans...)
Intel Core i5-760 2.8 GHz -suoritin, box 198.90e (well it's good)

If anyone doesn't have better ideas
=======================================================================
Kingston Valueram 8GB (2x4Gt) 1333MHz DD 147.90e (cheapish, and they have always worked with me)
Cooler Master Silent Pro 700W ATX-virtal 109.90e (any good one will probably cost around 100e even a 550W version)
LG GH22NSRB 22X DVD+-RW SATA-asema, 25.90e (i have ps3 for bluerays)

Uncertain parts, hjälp?
=======================================================================
Intel X25-M 160GB SATA SSD 2.5" (34nm) - 436.90e (feels pricey, any other good variants that would cost something around 300e?)
Asus P7P55D-E LX Intel P55 LGA1156 ATX-e 121.90e (flying blind here, it does have SATA 6Gb/s which should be good with SSD not?)

=======================================================================
Everything: 1373.20e

Also, any suggestions on a good heatsink for the cpu? I mean the boxed ones are rubbish, but nothing too fancy here. Just good performance with minimal cost.

Ok, I've had it. Seriously. I'm past the praying part when doing jumps in null or lowsec and suddenly the mac client decides to crash. Too many crashes and the performance isn't up to par so it's time for a change. BEFORE I loose some really expensive parts. I've been using macs for years now and I was into PC's before (overclocker, modder and so on) so it's not a unknown territory for me. Still, I haven't been keeping up with the components so I'm at loss what's good and what's not.

I'm not looking for a SUPERcomputer, but one that can run Eve (and only eve) with good performance and doesn't cost heavens. I've decided on a budget on 1500e or so (includes everything). So, what does Eve like? (intel/amd, nividia/ati, cpu/ram, gpu...) The budget can live up and down, but any suggestions on putting a 800e SLI-monster isn't really viable.

It's going to have a SSD (which one? remember it only needs win7 and eve).

Monitor: Already ordered (it will be connected to both the gaming pc and my work mac) Samsung SyncMaster 2494HM "24

There isn't really any need for high-tech sounds etc, the default crap is good enough for me.

Hjäp YARRRR!!

EvE looks amazing on a Mac running Windows, it would be easier just to run windows, unless your mac is > 5 years old.

Well it's a the last models from the white imac era, so it's a wee bit oldie now, but as I've said I need the OSX to be running all the time on the background. I have some applications i need up and running. They don't drain of affect eve in any way, but using bootcamp isn't really an option. Basically what I'm doing now is getting a PC next to it and sharing the "24 screen with the imac.

All in all, i can't bootcamp and I would have to buy a new imac anyways for good performance and still have to run the mac client. The mac client is probably the biggest reason why i'm switching eve to a pc. I have no intentions of buying a new imac for eve-need and see how 50% of the performance goes haywire with the client wrapping. Specially when I can still do my work on the imac without any problems. Also I know from experience that the osx client just isn't as stable as the win one.
