-The Assets window will no longer jump to the front when you jump, dock or otherwise change state.
does this mean i will be able to write ONE sentence without my chat window losing focus and assets window gaining it just because my wallet flashed?
-Icons on the fitting screen are now sized correctly.
what about race condition that makes some fitted modules show up offline, but when you click on them game says they are online .. but when you undock they are OFFLINE ...
and wghat about double entries in overview (undocking) and kill/loss log?
2-3 more annoying bugs left to fix and we will be back to square one, I could almost say good job CCP. |

How about the double fleet entries?
How about when dualboxing and 1 jumped a wormhole, both clients crash and the jumper logs back in to the starting system but with a 4 min polarity timer like they'd magically gone out and back before 2 session timers could have elapsed? |

ITT: People thinking that knowingly (it was bug reported) releasing broken code to the live server and still failing to fix it 4 patches later is good.
I'm flat out amazed. |

If you are having an issue installing the most up to date patch you can go to the ESC menu, General Settings and apply the patch from the 'Install' button there. |

If you choose not to install this patch all previous optional patches will be uninstalled as well. Once again, it is highly recommended you install this patch.

What he said ^^^ CCP released a patch that basically broke the UI for many players in a major way. Some of these faults were reported during the (clearly inadequate) testing on SISI... and were "obvious" (jumping windows, overview doubling)... and yet it was still released onto the TQ server. Since them we've had a succession of patches (on patches.. on patches .. etc) every few days to try and fix what they broke (and in some cases knew to be broken!). To assume that CCP are refactoring the UI, and applauding them for their foresight on the basis that this assumption might be true, is simply bizarre. Refactoring code is an established procedure... everyone else does it on a test system so that the live system, and their paying customers, are unaffected. Not CCP! To congratulate CCP for their repeatedly hacking a live system every few days with fixes hot from a coder's workstation, only some of which work!, is simply perverse! <shakes head sadly> |

Im now getting a long delay in opening the market and the window actually showing information.
Also the same problem with the character sheet and skill queue. With the training queue its taking 25 seconds from clicking it for the window to open. |

Interesting, because that was fixed last week.
You're right. This was fixed in optional patch #3. I don't know why it's included in these patch-notes though. As for the mail/notepad performance and other issues, we're working on those
How long must we endure this? I do not like to be a paying alpha tester. What is the officical stance of CCP about the failures you have done with "refactoring the client" ? I would like to see an action plan how you fix this bloody mess. And I have a suggestion how you could avoid this in the future: test your stuff before delivering. If this has gone thru you quality department you might hire humans and/or pay with money instead of peanuts. |

I've had enough of these "optional" patches..... now I'm right bk to windows opening in default postions every time I open a container and not "remembering" being stacked.... making salvaging not worth it imo. I'm done with thinking you actually fixed smth when you only made it revert to smth that didn't work in the first place |

in other words, CCPs stealth nerf on missioners reprocessing loot is working. Less salvaging, less reprocessing loot, more mined ores required, mineral prices start to rise. |

Im at a loss to comprehend the reasoning behind releasing patch #4 which now makes the faults that patch #3 cured, reappear again. Isnt it about time that you actually started thinking about the customers you currently have and less about $$$$$s raised by new customers. |

Same, this is pathetic. I knew i shouldnt have done this patch since i had no problems with the issues listed... Now each container remembers its position BUT EACH NEW CONTAINER HAS TO BE TOLD WHERE TO OPEN... Before this stupid patch they all opened exactly where i opened the last container regardless if it was the same container or not. This **** is really getting tedious . |

I don't. CCP are in a hole that they dug for themselves with no prompting from anyone else. I don't recall a huge roar from the crowd demanding a new UI. Having dug that hole, they then didn't follow rule#1, which is to stop digging! The sensible thing would have been to recall the patch and rollback to the existing largely unbroken UI and then fix this new UI quietly in the background without any player pressure. Instead, CCP continue to dig themselves deeper while the player base looks on disappointedly. |
