First of all i apologize to you for my English but this post is inspired by another post made by a non English speaker and I've tried to keep my post structurally as close to theirs as possibly. Plus I make horrible typos anyway.

What I want to say here is that the strategy of using instant Intel through Local Chat to avoid PvP encounters preventing Pirates and Raiders to work is becoming a curse with no risk PvE ruining the entire game. Hopeless Pirates and Raiders have to use cloaked ships and remain in system for days watching Local and scanners when not AFK, waiting for the locals to get comfortable with their presence in the system. This tactic of Local Intel makes it way too easy for players to farm ISK with little or no risk in space that is supposed to be very dangerous. The Attackers can do absolutely nothing to avoid this situation that is realy frustrating. They cannot track down miners, ratters, or anyone else not looking for a fight as they hide in their POS, Station, or simply log off. And also they don't know if he is AFK macroing or not. It is a silly and sick situation.

I can understand that Miners and Raters are there to be used in Nullsec. But not that way. I can understand their right to be in a system and make ISK. But to stay there in a system that is nearly completely safe is another thing. It is not fair at all for the owner of the stealth bomber who risks getting blown up at every gate trying to get into hostile space then have to go AFK for days for a chance to hit a target that is using Local Chat, all the while that other player, or rather macro miner is enjoying playing on their main character.

CCp must do something on that before players start leaving the game for good.

I don't like to complain without a proposal, i would suggest CCp to remove Local Chat from Nullsec . So defenders and attackers need to rely on scanners and actively gathered Intel.

If anyone of u has the same problem and has something better to propose please do it here.

Thank you

They should really remove all chat windows period. I think the game would be much more interesting if we had to interpret intentions from the overview alone.

Lets also adres other ridiculous things.

Mining ships, that can handle tons and tons of materials per minute, yet they are as small as some combat vessel?
That makes no sense?
Lets face it, a Hulk should be like 1000000000 bigger as some bomber and you would need 1000000 bombers to kill one!

Hmmm.. yes I see your point, as we all know it would take a million torpedoes to sink a modern day oil tanker, cruise ship, or cargo vessel, because those torpedoes were launched from a much smaller submarine. Why didn't CCP and the rest of us think of that?

This is alarming. We should ask for a counter to local chat! No. We should demand it! Maybe even whine about it.

Modern day oil tankers have multiple hulls so it would prob take billions of torpedoes to punch threw all those hulls and sink the ship.

It is obvious we need a compromise here. If missioners / miners / explorers PROMISE us to close their local channel windows in lowsec and 0.0, we promise them not to cloak with our lethal, unbeatable covops star-destroyers. How's that?

yes, remove instant local and replace it with something more pvp friendly. 0.0 careless carebearing must stop.

Instead of removing it make it take 5 -10 minutes to register someone entering the system. This would mean that someone looking for a fight could get the chance of springing a surprise attack. Plus will mean if a group really wants to be safe. Get sentries on the gates as an early warning.

To the OP,

Yes, a miner or ratter that pays attention to his surroundings is exactly the same as a cloaker that doesn't have to pay attention, right?

What do you want? Do you want to mine in peace, do you want to scare off miners or do you just wanna whine?

Find a WH to live in; there's no local in there.

hows about you form up a fleet and, i dunno, defend the sausages from the cloaked red dog?

idea? novel approach to solve mystery meat attacks? counter to the local espionage ?

Would type more, but they are after me and I need to get under the bed to don tin foil hat, so I'm invisible to their sonic radars
