I didn't see anywhere in the patch notes that they fixed the issue with the market window showing the correct price. Guess that slipped their mind, an of course they will sit on their hands about fixing the issues it is causing. Then again, I don't expect CCP to care anyway, I wouldn't be half surprised if they weren't behind half the scamming that goes on, specially seeing how they find it amusing.

There is a reason this game isn't has popular as it could be, that little kids game WoW has been out for a little less time, yet has done far better with the numbers then EvE. Sad ...

Are they going to fix the issue with the wallet & market prices displaying not correctly???

Why on earth does the sorting of columns suddenly go the wrong way? Why does the adding of skills to the training queue make it lose focus?

Doesn't the developers have a test environment? Painting the house blue shouldnt make the fat lady sing, should it?

Other established MMOs have caused far less grief after patches than Eve has, but that is not the reason Eve has not been as successful as WoW. It's because Eve does not pander to casuals, which is a Good Thing™ for those of use who rise to a challenge. Still, it doesn't help Eve when I start to dread patch days more than I ever did with any other well established MMO.

If another space combat + trading sandbox MMO came out tomorrow that was even nearly as good as Eve, yet less buggy, I'd jump at it. CCP might want to keep in mind they won't always be the only show in town. They've lost a great deal of my goodwill since I signed up, and they show little sign of reversing that trend ugh

Enfraya, Endrin, im not english native speaker so bare with me if i make spelling mistakes. Its not the words or spelling that does matter, its the content thats brought thru the words. If all you can do is react on spelling mistakes....

Is it so weird I have my own company? Lots of people in eve have their own business, it gives you more free time to play eve, haha.

Good. You see, the thing is, there is no excuse for the bugs that popped up in this patch. They were obvious; they were reported; they were ignored and CCP chose to release the patch with them anyway.

That's all there is, and it's unacceptable by any standard.

Yeh it's terrible with the new Patch-Bugs.

@CCP:
The last 2 Years it looks more and more like the Team got's changed.
How else it could be that your Crew is making the same mistakes every time?

I'll think CCP has taken the fired Blizzard Crew (also ~2 Years ago).
Now they "take-down" EVE like Blizzard Games.

Best Ways to crash/destroy a perfect Game:

1) Patch, Patch, Patch... Patch again!
2) Make all "Noob"-able, easy.... more easy.... more and more easy....
3) Ignore Customers and just **** on their stolen Gametime
4) Dont give "useful" Informations about Downtimes and Problems
5) Smoking & Drinks helps to ignore all the Problems happens
6) Just let's cut Contents and Features they want works anymore
7) At least just say: The Customer Computer is wrong, not our Game!
8) Continue with ignoring Customer Problems
9) Downgrading the Server
10) Patch, Patch, Patch... Patch again!
12) Continue with running the Game-Service with minimal Support
13) Stop "continue" of the Game, < end of supported time >
14) Bring out a new Game and start Money-Catching again
15) > Restart with destroying a good new Game or bringing out new Versions of the old Game
(like: Diablo 1, Diablo 2-, Diablo 2 Lord of Destructions, Diablo 3...)

---- ugha, CCP you are on the best way to destroy :)

HELLO for client-side bugs production environment IS testing one. And testing one IS production one. And at least nice part of bugs is client related. It's not a server what plays error sound when I open scanner window is it?
(Hint: if it would, they could fix it without patching a client)

Sounds like this game is just pure frustration and waste of time.
My hint: cancel subscription, terminate account, leave.

But I have more the impression that we have here a lot of smart-asses eventually not able to sort their own life out but knowing how perfect game coding, developing, designing etc. has to work in reality.

Just shut up or show us how to do it better and right.
Now waiting for the ultimative space MMORPG. I can't wait to play it soon(TM).

Jhhheeeeezzzus..... stop your ****ing and moaning.

Yes problems arose with yesterday's patch, they came up with a fix the next day. You can't always foresee bugs that will arise, but its not like CCP sat on their laurels when things went south.

Anyway whining = annoying (yes, I'm prepared emotionally to be quoted and whined at)

Edit: This is of course not directed at everyone in this post

Dont mean any emotional harm by this ;) but when people pay for a service, they expect it to work.

The problem is, its not the first time this has happened and I'm pretty sure a lot of people would agree that the UI has always been buggy (One of the most buggiest UI's of a game i have ever used)

In my humble opinion, it gives the impression of "we don't care" and makes CCP look unprofessional, which can't be good for any business. Saying that it's good that CCP brought a fix out the next day isn't the point, with the amount of bugs that showed up after the patch indicated to me, at least, that there may be possible concerns with bug testing.

Just my two penny worth.

Peace my friend :)

I never though i am going to say this but i am thinking more to quit a game I like to play but which seems to be harder and harder to play. why? this is why?

-I learned till now that any new patch minor or big comes lately with more bugs then fixes, you manage to get arround the previous bugs and get used to them and you get a new chalenge in the next patch.
-When I see patch anounced to be deployed, I personally do not plan to play eve that day, usually takes more then 6h to deploy...and make sure i have a very long skill in training. 3-4 days atleast
- the rest was pointed out in previous post by others.

Are a lot of testing methods, i still do not get it why a patch is pushed so fast on the frontline because how i see it is all about rush and affecting me and others.

Maybe all patches should be optional first....

Optional just means if anything fu-cks up in this NEW patch to patch the Patch

then ccp isn't to blame whatsoever it's your fault you downloaded and installed it was YOUR choice to download this optional patch but thats where was of you will argue and your defence will be

"but the old patch made things almost unplayable so we had no choice into patching with there shiny new patch"

this patch you people must understand is made by the same software that made this old patch that now have to patch AGAIN CCP SISI is for a reason it's been said that most of these bugs was reported to you in the SISI version why Didn't you do anything then and avoided this whole thing???

im glad a fix is coming out but really in MHO this is just a patch with a whole new bunch of crazy exciting bugs

or they listened to the SISI reports and made this patch now to patch the patch but what im thinking is why didn't you put the patch in along with the Other patch at the same time and nobody would of been the wiser

I was not thinking your a native english speaker, and frankly I couldn't care less if you were or not.
Also I am not whining about anything, so, maybe get a walk in fresh air orso so you can see and think straight.

Programming and software development isnt "Easy" nor is it "Difficult". It is what it is.
However the whole point of my post was not that it was Easy or Difficult, it was about the way CCP handles things. Its the HOW things are done what matters.
Thats all I am saying.

You can solve complex problems in a rather easy way, but you can also solve easy problems in a dramatic difficult way. Its the HOW that matters.

They are not Singleplay, massive Online Software & Browser Games.
To advertising for them in here would be not good, so just search a little on Google to find some simular Engines & Games working better.

And i never sayd that the "Content" and "Idea" of EVE is bad.
I just said that the handling of the "Patch"-Ways is just poor and "oldstyle".
There are some better "stable" Ways i postet 2 Days ago on the other Patch Thread as well.

And yeh you said i should show it better way.
Then tell CCP to take me to them, i'm free for new Jobs ;)

An optional patch will be deployed during downtime on Saturday, October 2 which will fix several issues reported to us following the release of Tyrannis 1.1. While the patch is optional, we would encourage everyone to apply the update to ensure your gameplay is improved over the weekend. The optional patch will be included in a future client update. A full list of updated patch notes can be found here.

Following downtime you will see a pop up box once the client is launched informing you that a patch is available and if you want to install. If you click 'Yes' then the patch will be applied and then you can log into Tranquility. If you choose 'No' you will log in to Tranquility directly but you will none of the fixes applied. If you clicked 'No' in error you can still apply the patch by going to the ESC menu, General Settings and apply the patch from the 'Install' button there.

Thing is: CCP is a company who is doing crap atm. And they not explaining it to their customers or thinking to do better.

@CCP (i didn`t need a unqualified comment from another customer):

Ur better starting of doing ur work and code a new UI from the start and test it properly. I have never seen a game wich was more complicated to do pretty easy things like in eve. And not reacting on customers comments makes it even more worse. Ur loosing my trust. And u shall know if u don`t get it, there will be another corporation who will.
Ur not unique. U just had a good idea. U better go on and think about what ur doing cause if not iam not willing to swallow ur cum.
