I'm not normally the type to jump on the "whine-wagon", but there's a legitimate issue this time (as opposed to the normal "you did what to my falcon" whine threads that happen).
Launching the client is fine, character selection is fine. Loading station environment seems to "stutter"; screen is black, then the station is there, screen goes black again, and my ship appears, screen goes black, and my chat windows appear, screen goes black and station services appear, screen goes black, and any open windows I had (pinned or not) appear, screen goes black . . . you get the idea.
Thank Krom that I'm in a station and not loading into a SS in some hostile system!
As annoying as that is, it's better than the real game-killer I've been having; CCP-EVE.exe has crashed unexpectedly. I open the market, and it crashes to desktop. I open my wallet, and I crash to desktop. I've basically been reduced to either watching the fascinating "Watch Eve load things" slideshow, or not playing at all. |

Eve is perfect. There is no lag there is no bad patch nothing needs to change ever. This level of gaming is totally acceptable.

I installed the optional patch and it did not fix the bug that the original 1.0 patch introduced, where everytime I log in, my chat windows are all broken apart (instead of stacked). Its a bit of pain having to redo those.
Otherwise, haven't noticed anything.
Oh - the Optional Patch fixed the audio klaxon that went off when I opened my scanner (that was introduced by the 1.0 patch). |

Thats it! None of the bugs i have now (which were introduced with Tyrannis 1.1) are fixed with this "optional" update. And nearly none of the bugs that made it on Tranquility were fixed in the past. Shame on CCP! Shame on on the devs, shame on the QA-team, shame on YOU! Originally by: CCP Fallot Impossible is Our Middle Name
For sure, Impossible to fix the bugs for months? Ipossible to introduce new features that are working as intended. |

OK This is VERY funny tbh... Everyone is whining that the patch is crap and stuff is messed up, and I am rejoicing the patch! I am a Mac user and for the first time in MONTHS I get FPS above 25. Even when running 2 clients I can actually play the game without shouting at it because it crashes or freezes up. For months PC users told me 'Don't use a Mac'. Now it's time for revenge? |

Edited by: inza onoa on 04/10/2010 10:50:46 Applied the patch. Still having numerous window issues. Like windows popping up at places where I dont want them to pop up. Especially cargo container and corp hanger windows.
At people and places, when you try to select all bookmarks, the folders are selected too now, this shouldn't be.
When you try to put bookmarks into your people and places, you can't place them into the folder of your choice directly anymore. You'd have to place them in the root first, then you can move them into your folder of choice, this is quite annoying.
The align to bookmark feature is kinda neat, thanks for that CCP!
Edit: oh, onlining/offling pos modules (gas reactor modules for example) still says "PUT" instead of "Put Online" "Put Offline".

Dear CCP!
I can live without a "drop" sound (when drang and drop). But those windows jumping around (usually top left corner) is extremley annoying.
Please fix your fix.
Thank you! |

Just in case you love **** poor code on a game you pay money for to test for ccp or, if you're not getting any issues, no need to install it.
Both options aren't mutually exclusive.
It's a win/win situation. Install, get ****-poor code. Don't install, get ****-poor code. Have you lot considered doing something right? |

I lost a vagabond because of this fail patch this morning. When i dropped my drones the overview window moved out of screen and i couldt see what was on my overview anymore. I installed the patch that was supose to be fixing this bug but i still got all the problems with my windows anyway.. when i undock from station my overview again moves out of screen and i cant move it. Sometimes i need to change screen res before i can move the window back and then i have to change the screen res back to the old res. All of these problems was reported on Sisi before and why are you deploying a patch that does not have this fixed???
CCP.. you own me a vaga! Give it to me! |

My windows generally stay where they are meant to, but they no longer seem to remember that they were grouped, so each time I am having to regroup them, which is getting rather annoying now. |

I'll submit another bug report, but this is the third time where the installer has failed, and then the repair tool fails, resulting in me having to download the entire client... again. I don't like this. And saying no to the optional patch said, incompatible client version when I tried to log on. :( |

Not sure if this was reported yet or not, but I clicked on the 'manage' button on a POS to see how much fuel it needed while I was aligning for warp. Once I went into warp I did like I always do and tried to close the window while in warp once I knew what it needed. It said I needed to be within 2500m to close the window..... |

Don't pin your windows and they behave normally between logins for the most part. You will still have a few chat windows that ungroup here and there, but most of the time they will be as you left them as long as you don't pin them. Most of the window problems in general seem to be stemming from pinning them. |

Is there a fix coming for the issues from the last patch? I asked this in the forum to report issues also. For me the game is unplayable and I would like to know if CCP is working on another fix or if we're just going to have to wait until the next release in November. |
