Two weeks ago a real life friend of mine had a falling out with me. ***DISCLAIMER*** All that ever happened between us up to this point was verbal, over text messages, I never threatened him or his property, or ever acted out against him.

Very long story short, he is a very angry person. Since we used to be friends, we were in the same corp. Since he is broke and has no job, he has to grind missions to buy plex to play. After careful planning, I successfully destroyed his mission ship ~850 mil total loss.

So, he drove over to my apartment complex, and waited quietly outside of my door. When my girlfriend opened the door to leave for work, he pushed his way inside, destroyed about $200 worth of some glasswork I have (had). I was already armed but my girlfriend maced him which made him leave.

Anyway here are the tears:
Tokhein > i was in fleet with my alt, so i could make isk to buy my plex for the next month, and he, being a corp member, opened fire and popped my CNR with no reprocussions from concord
Tokhein > now, i can't grind a bunch of stupid missions to make isk and pay for my acccount for another month, so i guees ill be inactive
Tokhein > i can't believe he just did that
Tokhein > still, ty
Tokhein > im so upset atm, i think i have to lof
Tokhein > log<br>p
Tokhein > it wouldn't be such an issue if i weren't jobless and broke and can't pay for my accoun
Tokhein > account
Tokhein > but he knew that
Tokhein > i know him in rl, and know where he lives, just cause his girlfriend and i don't get along, and we had a falling out doesn't give him a right to do this. and we are still corpies, so wtf?
Tokhein > cuz he couldn't have done it if we weren't corpies because i was trying to mission grind in high sec
Tokhein > and even if i had another CNR, he would just do the same thing

So... let me get this straight:

1st, you and your RL friend have a spat because he and your GF dont get along.

Then you, lacking any sort of problem resolution skills, decided it would be a good idea to use the fact that you were still in corp (and why was that anyway, if this had been going on for a while and the friendship was long dead?) to gank his navy raven in high sec, effectively taking your RL problems into game.

Then your friend, who by all accounts is a loser who should really stop playing eve and use the extra free time to look for a freaking job, who btw also lacks any form of maturity or problem resolution skills, decided that it would be ok to drive over to your house, force his way in, and act out a little home invasion fantasy, before getting wtfpwned by your girlfriends pepper spray.

My expert conclusion:

A) You're a D-bag who id not ever want in a corp with me.
B) Your friend is a loser who will probably be living with his parents until hes 40.
C) Your GF is probably a b**ch, which is what started the whole thing anyway.

OP simply proves its impossible to get a good 1v1 these days. Wronged friend comes over for a 1v1 and meets ECM support char(girlfriend).

On the offchance that this is in any way real and not a blatant troll attempt, you are a <insert forum friendly expletive here> for screwing ur friend over rather than, say, talking to him, and he is also a spanner for risking prison over pixels (although it was almost certainly the very real act of betrayal from a friend, rather than pixels, which tic'd him off).

He would be stupid to call the police after his "friend" busted up his bong collection. But then again it would be par for the course.

You lose points for not posting with your main. So which one are you, Redloc or Omniwing? Or is that someone else and you are just trolling for lulz.... Otherwise, i quite admire what you did...I had a friend with serious anger issues once, and i can't say that after one particularly nasty tantrum he had that I wouldn't do the same thing. To take away someone's toys so they can't play a game they really have no business playing if they can't afford to pay for it, well, you may have done this person a favor in the long run. Time to become a productive member of society for the deadbeat.

In other news, I'd dump your woman as well. Both seem to care more about themselves and their petty little fued then how you got caught in the middle of their drama. Kudos to her for the macing, but next time, use a taser, the aroma it creates is much more pleasing. Don't forget involuntary muscle spasms and the surprise poo that comes with it. Good times.

As for most of the posters here...yep, it's a game. If blowing up an internet spaceship is an indicator of how crappy a friendship is, then its not a friendship. This game is built on shenanigans like this, CCP practically encourages it, otherwise it wouldn't have happened. There's an entire forum section dedicated to this crap. Last i checked, it wasn't called E-Morals & You, or Sense and Sensibility. Everybody thinks that doing such a thing is despicable, when honestly it's just game mechanics. And pixels. Poo happens. It doesn't mean that a player is a bad person. You can't apply something that is subjective and doesn't exist except in our heads to every person you meet. You'll just sound like some right-wing religious whack-job. E-morals are just as useless as their counterparts in the real world.

Any and all other replies to this thread have fallen short.

And for those of you who are taking this time to give a lesson in friendship and morality for exploding pixels: go outside, you're loosing touch with reality. A man without a job should not be in his house playing an mmo.

To the op

I hope you were both kicked out of the corp.
I know the corp and they are great corp with fine pilots.

Stabbing a corpmate in the back then announcing the drama to the masses is lame.
Not only making yourselves look like asses but also smearing the good reputation of the corp.
This should have been dealt with privatly within the corp.

Your ex-friends a douche. Also, eve is just a game. He needs medical help and should not be allowed in the general populous till some men in white coats decide he's fixed.
