I'll try to bring a new focus on preventing the suicide ganking in Empire. I know that the suggestion of supressing the insurance for ships destructed by Concord brings a lot of tears from high-sec pirates (despite of it's the most logical solution related to the lore, because the insurances are paid by a NPC corporation related to Concord [Nowadays it's like if the police in the real world pays you the damage done to your car because you tried to resist arrest at 200 km/h in the highway and they took you out of the road])
My idea is the following:
- There would be a ship module for low or med slots, that cloaks a percentage of your cargohold to cargo scanners. The more skill you have, the more percentage it cloaks.
Freighters obviously don't have slots, so the module doesn't affect freighter ganking. The most profited of this module will be the industrial tech I pilots who actually can be ganked just sacrifying one battlecruiser. This should help the beginner traders to load more goods without exceeding the profitability rate of suicide ganking (unless the pirates want to blow up a ship without knowing what it's the cargo and lose security status and a ship for nothing)
