but was watching won blinks just now. And i noticed something weird you might want to look at
looking at your rules it says
Quote: How many active blinks are allowed on the board? Normal Blinks: Maximum 6
so i was surprised to see Jax Hammer bidding 8 times on the same normal blink..
(i've evemailed the links to the pic)
you might want to look at that, as that seems a breach of policy
An "active blink" is an item being blinked on, not tickets you buy on items. |

You misunderstood the policy in that regard. "active blinks on the board" in this case means the number of simultaneous lotteries going. I.e. one Harpy, one Wolf, one Raptor, one Megathron, one Navy Hookbill and one Manticore. That is 6 active blinks.
There is no rule governing how many tickets one player may buy on a single blink (with the exception of promos, which are limited to 1 ticket per player). If someone wants to buy all 8 tickets on a normal blink, they are free to do so - and they are in fact cheating themselves out of ISK, since the actual value of most items is roughly equal to 6 tickets.
A guy who buys all 8 tickets might do it for achievement hunting, or to fabricate an artificially inflated Win Ratio, but he's essentially buying an item for 30% above Jita price everytime he does it. Not a very good deal, if you ask me.

For those of us who didn't blow our promo token hoard on the 50T events and don't get on to many promos, how about a daily "wheel of fortune"? 10 promo tokens gets you one spin a day, prizes range from nothing to blink credit or a random ship?
Just something to burn through promo tokens a bit faster.

Hey Somer, is there any chance in the future that the awards with meta-unlocks will be visible once unlocked?
Im talking about the awards like, Blinks in Black, Blink: Brought to You By the Letter "B" when you say, got the Basilisk that the ship then gets highlighted under the award progress?
Its hard to remember which ships you won on those lists when you werent aware of the award when you started blinking :) |

If you check your My Blinks page, there's a link to "View All Winnings" that should tide you over :) |

Edited by: Satchu Phaidon on 04/09/2011 09:21:38I won a Nightmare in a promo blink, and My Blinks page says its status is immediate delivery. Does this mean it gets put in Jita, or delivered to a different system...? EDIT: Never mind, I just got the contract. |

right around the 50T celebration there were a lot of new achievments created. Is there any way by chance to find out whats required to win these items, or atleast know what i should be blinking on to obtain said achievements ?

Hints come from the achievement names and their category. You might find people in the chat channel that have figured them out as well. Finally, many of them have progress bars that you can use as a guide :) |
