Hello CCP,

I think being able to delete unwanted skills from your character would be a great idea. When i first started playing Eve in 2007, and like a lot of people, I had no idea what i was doing. I trained up a bunch of useless skills on a whim just out of curiosity, now that im close to 30mil sp i have a ton of unwanted clutter that i would just like to delete, I don't even care about the sp! I just want the option to hit delete. So I'm wondering, would this be a resonable request for possible future consideration?

How about a hide skill option? I'm sure ccp would rather avoid a bunch of " I accidentally deleted the wrong skill" or "someone hacked me and deleted everything" petitions. You know, it'd happen.

Yeah, they can also send your character to the Bio Mass, or sell and delete all your assets as well! As for the " I accidentally deleted the wrong skill" arguement, a box can pop up before the actual deletion saying something like, "are you sure you want to delete this skill?"

First off, if you are an 07 and you have 'close to 30M SP' then you are doing it wrong.. Secondly.. Why?? So you look more uber?

Trust me, at some point in the future knowing how to use a mining laser or being able to fly that Itty 3 is going to save you. There is only 1 skill in this game that is useless and its multitasking past level 3..

I don't know that I'd say multitasking past 3 is useless. You are aware that signal amps add +1-2 lockable targets to your ship?

auto targeting system II gives you even +3 lockable targets

one benefit would be cheaper clones.

I don't agree, because those deleted skills could be pre-reqs for others, and that could cause issues.

you can simply forbid deletion of skills, which are pre-reqs for other skills you've already trained. Or do cascading delete all depending skills also, as the eve mon already does in skill plans.

what's an "useless skill" again?

any examples?

skills, the character is never using for example.

I would like to get rid of mining II skill on my pvp character; a lone skill trained only to 2, which you got from the character creation looks just bad among all IV or V skills. Its an estetic issue.
