I am proud to tell you all that my kernel that I have spent the past 2 years developing works!!!. Runs off the Ubuntu strain and I have dubbed it as "Veta" through its prototype phase. And now the finished product is dubbed "Veta 1.01 Nexium". Nexium has a tweaked version of of gnome as your "control bar" is from the side left or right wich ever you choose, also runs a built in emulator which is the pride and joy of this creation.

The emulation runs off the principles of wine by using a file allocation system but goes to NT/NTFS not FAT, it also tries to split the load on your CPU and north bridge so your cores don't take the ragged abuse that gaming on a Linux OS can cause. With this kind of load splitting I theoretically thought you can put more load on your GPU to process incoming data with help from core 3 if you use x4 core system and core 1 if you are using a x2 core syst.

Unlocking the technical challenges of wine-to-Ubuntu means you get more power off of "Veta" then you would ubuntu. Built in load sharing fail safes, manipulation of both north and south bridge channeling form the GPU and CPU, coupled by Nexium emulation which acts more on principles XP would, in the body of a Linux system.

"Veta" lets play eve:
"Veta" will say ok lets play, 100 man fleet 250 in system didn't hick up, didn't freeze, ran a SLI GTX 290(pny cards) on high settings no problem other then the lag ppl have been talking about(man its badRazz).

I finally got to experience why ppl are kinda mad at CCP, but I'm not mad no not at all cuz its the first time i was able to get into a fleet that big!!!

I felt like sharing this with you lads, so tell me what you think also tell me if i should make this a full distribution model and put it as a free download so everyone can get "Veta" .

This is a 2.6 branch? Or, what v. is it based on?

I would assume this is a massive troll.

There hasn't even been a 'north bridge' in many years, the memory controller was moved on the CPU die and access to the GPU is through QPI/hypertransport to the IOH. Both AMD and Intel took on this structure quiet awhile ago.

I feel like an idiot.

I look like one too!
