The launcher works for me (Win 7 64bit), it never was so easy to get a working SiSi client. Thumbs up!

One small thing though: The launcher asks for admin rights on every start, even when nothing needs to be changed. Since I use the launcher to, uh, launch the SiSi client, this is a bit annoying. Maybe make it so that the launcher only asks for admin rights when it needs them, i.e. when a patch is being installed. I guess this means a bit more complicated code, but would make the tool a bit more useable for those of us not permanently working with admin rights.

It's not just you. I hope it will be fixed soon, but I can't promise anything, as the weekend is near again...

I decided to go for a different route. copying my TQ folder and then updating. why would it not autodetect (client) the patch from 181439-181725? thanks anyway hope it gets fixed before something awful happens.

I got the same error as another guy further up, but with a different sync number. It seems to have skipped doing a checksum on the client it copied as well. I'm on Win 7 Pro x64.

^Why I couldn't join in on testing like I planned on Thurday, also the most recent patch isn't available for direct download, at least for my build cause it ain't listed.

Per the usual all automated patch downloads are corrupt and the repair tool can't fix them and won't download them again, and even if it did it'd most likely be corrupt again.

Same error, am I to believe that this won't be fixed over the weekend?
Without sounding like a know-it-all this tool should probably have its updates sorted out before they go live on Singularity, especially the really big 2gb ones. Surely it saves CCP a shed-load of bandwidth cost not having to download 2gb of data per person to fully replace/patch a client when the tool appears to be more efficient? Its a really, really great little tool and I really like it, but its disapointing that it appears to lag behind.
Really like the launcher though!

If you download the full 2.8GB installer you're doing it wrong anyway. Just re-copy your TQ client and get the TQ -> SiSi patch instead.

I wasn't talking about myself, but the Sisi client which tells people there's a 2gb download to patch whether I download it or not, thats what it says.

Same here..error...and I've gotten two different types of errors, so...
I might try fixing it, and I might just wait for a fix...depends on time constraints. The launcher worked fine up until this last patch. I will make sure I have the current launcher version, but prospects are looking a bit grim. Must be time to have a few select people test the patches from outside CCP prior to us all having to mess up our clients.
Just in case no one has figured it out, EVE Online is a game of patience.
BTW, the MassTest was a lot of fun, esp. with the audio commentary by pilots.

I think I found the problem in my client...somehow the path to the client got messed up...trying to patch the correct thing now.

Success! Test client up and running! Hmmm...I guess accounts got mirrored over again? I just went from 4 million + skillpoints to around 2.9 million...I guess it's still progress after the 2 million still to be awarded, just not as much. Smile

Any word on if this is going to get fixed before the next mass test? I've tried re copying the client and everything but I can't get logged back into Sisi.

It seems the auto patch works. I'm back in.
