Hi, when attempting to run Sisi installer,
following did not occur

"If there is no client in the location you will be asked for the path to your TQ client"

I cancelled installer when it began downloading client from website. (4days & counting)

Well, i deleted the old stuff in the sisi folder after first installation with sisi tool (because of missing python25 dll) - then i ran the utility again.
It asked me for a location of the sisi client. I took the old directory. Then it did a check and downloaded the 2.8 GB from Web. It never asked me the path of the tranq-client.
I am not sure, but i think it copied it in the first installation - but now in the 2nd it did not ask.

Quick feature request.
Can we have this SISI launcher optionally launch the LogServer before EVE for us?

Inline with that same request:
Could the log server please have a command line option that starts the LogServer with a new session, instead of none.

I personally have a Separate Bash script (Yes on Linux) for SISI that launches LogServer for me first, but i have to make EVE launch wait via a dialog box, until i've clicked the new button on the Logserver window and Clicked OK on the dialog/popup.
If LogServer had a command line switch then I could automate this, as could you for the SISI launcher.

Cheers guys. I'm impressed with this effort and am testing for Linux Fedora wine 1.2, nVidia 193 right now.

The tool seems to work fine, however it didn't even try to copy the existing client files, it just started download the whole game immediately when I clicked Play (it never asked for the path to the normal eve client even though the Sisi folder was empty). This is no big deal for me, my connection is fast, but it might be for others, and for the eve servers that get an unnecessary load.

Note that my client is installed under E:\EVE not the default location.

i havent been able to get this to work. i cant even log onto sisi the "old" way either something with the download being corrupt..This...anyway i would like to get this to work because an "easy" way to log onto sisi would for sure bring more ppl there.

here is the error log when i try to run the program on (ahem) Vista:

Hopefully with this tool we can encourage more people to take part in the testing that takes place on SiSi.

Edit: trying to use the repair tool (not the launcher) results in the same error.

Edit2: deleted the Sisi folder, copied TQ, ran the launcher tool and I did not have the same problem. In fact, I'm logged in now.

reading the error, it would appear something had a lock on the file, and the os wouldn't let anything else modify the file.

Can you paste the contents of that config.ini? If in doubt simply delete the offending file.

It broke again with the last Sisi-patch (45 minutes ago). A required file is missing. I hope it will be solved soon, but I cannot promise anything during weekends...

Update: Works now!
