I had to interrupt my sisi launcher due to other things going on and when I started it again it ran out of space on my on my c: drive which had started out with 10gb and I am installing onto another drive so space shouldn't have been an issue. So I tracked it down in the ProgramData\CCP\EVE\Downloads folder and deleted the download there started the launcher again and it worked perfectly.

So I wasted 3h today for nothing? Someone kill me! Sure there's a 1.4 GB file in the Temp folder but it won't extract. And restarting the repair tool doesn't fix this ... no it gets worse. It tells me to download the whole 1.4 GB againNeutral There where like 100 files some less than 1 MB and some 170MB. So why does this tool put all the stupid files in 1 file that can get corrupted. If it would download all the files separate then I might just end up with 1 170MB corrupted file. Can some1 make a torrent of the whole sisi client so I can download the 10 biggest files and after that run the repair tool so that the tool downloads the additional 5% of the stupid 1.4 GB.

I am disappoint!

I am having the same problem as Invictra. Not quite as long a run time, but close enough. Why on earth are you making it download the entire missing data in 1 file, that can get corrupted, which then force you download the ENTIRE thing again?! Does anyone know where or even if there is a torrent of this so I don't have to waste more time and hard drive space?

I too am extremely disappointed in.

Try deleting the contents of C:\ProgramData\CCP\EVE\Downloads as the file does not seem to get replaced when you download it again so if anything went wrong the first time it stays that way.

most of the problems your haveing may not be problems at all just verson defferance as i use the sisi luancher to run the test server and i seem to keep getting a new verson then the one the server is currently running like now i have version 214773 yet it says it is incompatable it could also be that ccp does not want any one online untill mass testing starts at 1800 UTC k this is eve test server not your private test server it is ment for testing of new updates and patches if your efforts are not for makeing the game better dont play in the test server we do not need the wasted space just to be frank

ps i have a few ideas that i would love to see in the game but i can not see them beeing implemented any time soon so i will put them on the back burrner

If ccp dont want us to run test server early than thay want, then it is very simple to put flag "not accepting connections" - which is very clear instead of "incompatibilile version" - which canm lead to confusion and complaining on not working update (which is up to date - if you theaory is right) and can only create problems.

edit : from reading its look like that cccp created new version but dont relased it to public yet.

FYI previously 1.19 was not updating any files but TQ said incompatible build. This afternoon it did update and after the very slow logon queuing, it's worked. So try again/with 1.19, maybe you need to hit the repair button rather than launch Sisi but I don't remember if I did that.

When I try to log on (after waiting about 30 mins in line for my turn) after selecting my char it asks if I want to use the new char creation tool, when I click "Yes" it then brings up the "Entering Character Creation" bar, but it just stays on that for ever, literally never goes off it. Can anyone help me with this? do I need to re-download the client or is it just some random error?

FYP

and this has nothing to do with the SiSi launcher tool, you're issue is after SiSi has already been launched

Please visit your user settings to re-enable images. This happens every time I try open SiSi. I've followed the instructions down to the letter and even tried manual patching and changing the server address on the EXE. All of these methods have produced the same problem. I've already submitted a bug report of this problem but I was just wondering if there is a quick fix to this issue?

Cheers,
Agro

Can you see if you've set some UAC preference for this exe/path? I'm not familiar with how to do so but suspect that could be your issue, a now-silent denial for a resource request which the game just bombs on as it can't progress.

That or check if any compatability mode is in effect.

Any clues?

Basically just times out at the "downloading rollsums" part.

As a sidenote.. With all the variety of problems that I see that people are having with patching...My god.. The new patching method doesn't exactly look robust. Hope they consider giving us the classic method of patching until the autopatcher sorts itself out.
