I'm posting here as you guys will have more experience with EVE+Wine than elsewhere.

Short version: EVE can't connect to TQ.

I've made sure my internet works and to be fair the client was working 3 days ago when I last logged on.
wine iexplorer lets me tootle around the internet so wine itself is working. Indeed Steam just pulled down L4D2 and SupCom2 quite happily.

I've rm -r'd the .wine directory and gone from scratch, same problem.

Terminal output is as follows:

wine explorer /desktop=EVE,1280x750 'C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\eve.exe'
fixme:gameux:GameExplorerImpl_VerifyAccess stub
fixme:heap:HeapSetInformation 0x590000 0 0x33fc80 4
EVE Client version 6.3 build 174282 starting 16:21:53
Multi-Language System: Client using language [EN]
fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x338d08,0x00000000), stub!

Yep. As said worked fine 3 days ago and I've not changed the network config.
