hmm as a RP farmer myself (who isn't), being an inventor I dont particularly like this change but hey it means less datacores on the market which means less invention which means t2 ships rise in price .....
I like..... might mean that being an inventor will actually finally be worth something
My main worry when ever the devs do do a change like this is that their next change is going to be something like nerfing the entire non pvp side of the game which I think would be a comlete disaster as that would destroy quite a lot of the complexity and scope of this game (just like say nerfing pvp would) and make it nothing more than a substandard (no real imersion due to lack of relatable personal/ized icon) shoot'em up.
Anyway here's wish ccp continues their Post Office worker when told by players what changes to make and continue to every so often make intelligent if not wise decisions
