Guess I'm one of the only lucky ones here then... Got my first storyline ½ an hour ago, jumped 4 systems, blew up a few frigates, docked and recieved 0.1 standing with the republic, 51K and a small nosferatu. In all it took around 30 minutes to complete (including travelling to the agents station to pick up my nosferatu).
Of cause, the next one may be bad, but this one was great :o) |

That would be a lousy mission if you ask me. Was this a lvl 1 or 2 agent? In that case it's good. |

Edited by: Bozan Ruktar on 28/12/2004 05:22:35 Well, usually I do lvl 2 missions, but I have no idea what level this agent was. Didn't seem to be noted anywhere.
Anyway, this mission was as good financially as any other I do, and with respect to standing, it was great. |

I did one of these missions yesterday. Had it in my journal for a few days, and to make sure i didn't fly the 15 jumps for nothing i accepted the mission from where i was. Because it was an easy mission i fitted my ship for speed, made the 15 jumps and made a warp to the target location. I did even make the bonus, and the reward was nice (same as other lvl3 agents).
So it might be an idea to accept the mission before you start traveling. Might cost you the bonus, but at least you're not flying 10+ jumps for nothing :) |

On, a better note I did one two days ago just 9 jumps away or something like that for 50k and the agent was actualy there. Not only that after shooting two frigs he gave me what was comming plus a bonus of 4 station containers It looks like the story line agents are improving.... but not by a lot. The next offer I got was again a story line but now only 20 jumps away from my home station and I got a whole 46k for completing it. So I declined that one. |

I get around two storylines a day from level 3 mission running. No way do I drop everything refit ship for moving out 14 jumps do mission and return, this is insane. I have been stacking the importants and when there are too many of them TRY to go do them, however by that time none of the agents want to talk to me, the mission details do not show, and even going to the agents station yields no improvement.
Until the devs at CCP get time to sorting this out, give us a way of telling these idiots agents to get lost and leave us alone instead of leaving 5-6 missions lying around that I am unable to complete and unable to reject. The storyline agents now push my real agents offscreen in the station which is getting annoying.
I am in total agreement with Lyah, remove these abominations! |

To throw in my 2 cents i found out with story line missions are base from what race you are in... like I am amarr and and I found out the avg jump is about 6 jumps for the amarr home system. So that my 2 cents... |

I've been working for Creodron's agents forever, and all of the "storyline" missions so far have been for Transtellar Shipping... I took the hint, and went to work for Transtellar yesterday. My first mission for the agent was "Silence the Informant"... Maybe with luck he'll send me important missions for Creodron. |
