So I am scanning down systems in Hisec and routinely come across K162 wormhole's which I understand are "exit" wormholes. Upon entering and looking back the one I found today was an "N110" which means it leads back to hisec.

Fine, but what about the system itself? Can I determine it's class from the inside? I did write down its signature, or do I have to scan down another wormhole and see what it says from the other side?

This thread lists which wormhole signatures connect between which regions. Thus if you find a "N110" you know that you're in a C1 unknown system, and the other end of the wormhole is in hisec somewhere (note that "hisec" could even be a hisec island in the middle of low/nullsec).

edit: Search for the locus signature (eg: J12345) in the Dotlan EVE Maps and you'll find out much more about that system.

Thanks Mara,

Typing in the J###### number at dotlan cleared it up. Thanks!

You can roughly determine it by clicking info on the k162. It should say soemhting like: this wormholes seem to lead to (high/low/null sec or unknown (class 1-3) dangerous unknown (4,5) or "cant remember" unknown (class 6)

You can also see the exact Class in which K162s lead to by its colour. It goes from a nice blue(C1 and C2 look very familiar) to a strong red for C6.

Are you sure?
I know for sure that at least wh's to k-space has the color of the backdrop in the destination system. Gallente systems are often green, Amarr red, and Caldari black/blueish.
