I'm digging this rattlesnake, and I would love to know what kind of fittings you people use on it for PVE lvl4/5
Consider lvl5 shield, drone skill and adequate missile skills

It is almost always passive tanked, and but there is a big difference between 100% passive tanked (0 cap usage) and passive tanked with Active Tank and/or Afterburner (small cap usage). You probably know this but most (all?) level 5's drain your cap like crazy so the only way to really solo them is to have a fit that uses 0 cap (if you have logistics with you they can boost your cap so its a non-issue, which in theory was how they were meant to be completed).

Anyways, there are a handful of different options that have to be considered, and all have there pros and cons:

Drones: Sentries or Heavies. You can have both BUT having Sentries requires Omnidirectional Tracking in the Mids while Heavies do not (but are not as powerful). This is gonna affect how much tank and missile dps you have and whether or not you have an Afterburner.

Cruise or Torps: The rattlesnake has a nice range bonus to missiles so torps become an option. Using them requires a propulsion mod generally as well as target painters. This is going to affect your tank as well as eliminate the possibility of a 100% passive tank (target painters/AB take cap) which only really matters if you are soloing level 5s.

100% Passive or Passive w/ Hardeners: Hardeners are always ALWAYS more resistance than passive modules, but if you want zero cap usage you can't use them. If you want to successfully tank without hardeners your gonna need some Faction Fit mods for resistance.

I think the most common fit for lvl 4's and Anomalies is something like this:

[Rattlesnake for lvl 4 and/or Anom]
Ballistic Control System II
Ballistic Control System II
Ballistic Control System II
Shield Power Relay II
Shield Power Relay II
Shield Power Relay II

Heat Dissipation Field II
Ballistic Deflection Field II
Ballistic Deflection Field II
Omnidirectional Tracking Link I (Navy is a great investment if you want)
Omnidirectional Tracking Link I (Navy is a great investment if you want)
Shield Recharger II
Shield Recharger II

Cruiser Missile Launcher II w/ Fury
Cruiser Missile Launcher II w/ Fury
Cruiser Missile Launcher II w/ Fury
Cruiser Missile Launcher II w/ Fury
Drone Link Augmentor I
Drone Link Augmentor I

Large Sentry Damage Augmentor I
Large Core Defence Field Purger I
Large Core Defence Field Purger I

Garde II x 5
Warden II x 5
Other Assorted Drones

Switch hardeners for the mission. If you are against Gurista or Serpentis keep the Garde as you main close range drone. Against Sansha switch to the Curator. Against Angel Garde is probably best even though its not hitting there weakness do to the better tracking vs. there quicker ships. Warden II is your long range drone of choice, can hit out to your max drone control range/targeting range and beyond.

If you know there is a lot of gates or just want to have one anyways, you can either drop a hardener for an AB or drop a BCS for a Shield Power Relay and a Shield Recharger for an AB.

With current fit all V's it tanks 713 vs. Gurista, does 783 dps, and its range is only capped by its targeting range (93 km), though Gardes only hit 40-45 km before needing to be switched for Wardens.

Note: This is actually a mean boat to use vs. Sansha if you want. It's tank is not an issue, missiles can be changed to EM damage, and Curator II's w/ 2 Navy Omni Directionals can hit just about anything in a mission except close frigates. Unlike the Garde, it has a 70km range or so with all the fittings/skills, and does EM damage (which is why its a no-no vs. Guristas)

GOODLUCK!

I run the following reasonably expensive fit, looking around 700 dps w/ ogres (+ plants) per EFT, tank is silly, its very much an afk omni-tank, you could bias it a little more towards damage but thats not the point of this ship really, if you want highest DPS go CNR.

Lows
4x SPR II
2x Faction/Officer BCS

Mids
2x Fed Navy Omni's
DG Invuln
LSE II
Pith A Magnetic Amp
Pith A Heat Amp
Pith A Kinetic Amp

Highs
4x DG CMLs
2x Drone Link (or tractor)

Rigs
3x Field Purger IIs

Only thing is, its bloody slow, but luckily for most missions you just warp in sit still agro the room and drop the drones.
